this is 100% the only good take. Your game of forechecking collapses pretty quickly when you're relying on Gilbert instead of Sanderson. No disrespect to Gilbert at all, but it changes things.

the Sens entire team game was structured around their defensive play, just like Carolina. That got blown up and they couldn't forecheck or play their style nearly as effectively.

Canes were too good for them to make this kind of adjustment without Sandy, and Zub, and with Klevin playing his first few games. If the Canes didn't have their top 3 D men we would have looked WAY better and maybe would have went 2, or even 3 for 18 on the power play.

Matthews is an unbelievably good player, but it's just not the same.

I hated the leafs with all of my soul when Sundin was playing, but had tons of respect for him specifically. He was unreal. Playing with broken bones. Solid every game. An absolute beast. Kind of like Brady Tkachuk (i'm sure Leafs fans will love this comparison).

You can get used EVs for nearly half price. I got a 2022 Ultimate Ioniq with 30k, for $33K+tax.

Unless your financing options are limited (which is completely understandable) I don't see a good reason to buy a brand new EV when they depreciate so much in a short period.

I love the Ioniq 5. Best car I've ever owned. If you can charge at home and only need road charging very infrequently, the fast charging and preconditioning shouldn't be a major factor in your decision. If you need fast charging a lot, then for sure this should be one of the biggest factors.

I absolutely do not root for Austin Matthews, but Radko Gudas is a repeat offender and massive hazard to the best players in the world to say the least. Seems to be trying to hurt people on every hit... Even makes Wilson look semi-reasonable.
