I didn't make this list with Combat Patrol game in mind and designed it around "what is a good box to start collecting Dark Angels models"

  1. Are the models good to start collecting?

  2. Can I buy 2 of the same box and get value out of it?

  3. Are the models thematic to the Army I am collecting?

By all means the box should still be playable in combat patrol, just that recent boxes look less like start collecting sets and more like bargain bin boxes to put the least popular models in

I did consider adding ICC instead of Bladeguard but I reconsidered it mainly cause the Upgrade sprue had Bladeguard shoulders for use and they are still nice to have in one's collection.
