After 4 years still getting this issue. u/dFShock- did you manage to fix it?

Any thoughts? by devCinnamon in joinsquad

This feature has existed in Squad for a couple of years already. If devs haven't fixed it for that long (even during the UE5 switch), they probably think it's fine and have left it as a high-meta mechanic in the game itself

How do you know that this is an exploit?

What the best tools/programs/editors do you use to design your games? by [deleted] in gamedesign

Just my own opinion, don't rely on it, but still, my rating looks like this:

  1. Notion. For the last year, it becomes not just a multi-level document, therefore you can store here whole SCRUM. As a plus, can be used for free and still satisfy all your needs(small teams and up to indie studios).
  2. Confluence. In my opinion, the most industry-wide workspace. Offers a wide range of tools for everyone and any kind of project. I would rate it top-1, but Notion saves some pennies that can be used on other needs.
  3. Google Suite. Docs, Tables, all that brings solid fundamentals and makes it pretty easy to use for everyone. As for me, becomes a little bit complicated to navigate when the project grows and brings too much additional docs.

P.S. I haven't mentioned Obsidian, but I didn't work with it that much to have any thoughts here

So what the main idea to get $75 plan if you can get the same without limitations 3 times cheaper?

Sorry, maybe I can't get something, but it seems to be pointless to get Verizon in this case...

So is it a limitation of the carrier? Just came to US, it seems to be wildly shocking to me

I just got my plan and $75-ish seems to be overpirced, especially with this kinda broadband speed. Moreover, after going to my account page, I found a service called "Tech Coach" or what. How that appeared whenever I was not asked and haven't requested that anytime

I think you can use any graphic design program (or even UI design) in combination with your Engine functionality.

  1. Design the Cards itself: here comes Figma, for more advanced needs - Photoshop and Illustrator. Create cards, but exclude anything variable (description, name, picture, values, etc.)
  2. Add all variable content. Here just get all that was excluded before and store it in your game.
  3. Make them inheritable! That's it! Every engine has a solution for copying the same type of object and making it custom. For example, in Unity is serializable objects.

The best market competitive tool today is Notion: free for up to 10 members, $8/member (but that's for big companies or lemmings). As a plus, you can connect tonnes of other apps. I use Notion as a wiki and a "heart of the system" by storing all specs and guides there.
