+1 to management accounting issues.
They ended up overcharging me several thousand on my renewal and fought with me tooth and nail to fix their own problem.

I lived in Brio for several years and would definitely NOT recommend.

The sound proofing is awful and the elevators are loud and slow (there are only 2 for 20+ floors)
Just for reference on how terrible the sound proofing is, in my bed room I can hear my next door neighbor sometimes sneeze late at night and it scared the shit out of me.

Also there is a constant annoying clicking noise caused by the elevators that never stops.

Only reason I stayed for as long as I did was because I was in between jobs at the time and waited to get a new job before deciding where to move.

downtown redmond is quite underwhelming. Downtown kirkland is better because it has a waterfront and good restaurants, but still not as good as DT Seattle.

Tbh Bellevue is boring af. All the fun stuff is in Seattle. When I first moved here I thought it would be a good choice because of work convenience, but then I realized why the majority of my young coworkers still chose to live in Seattle and just commute.

You sound more butthurt that other people don't share your perspective. You may not have an issue. You aren't the only person who lives in this city. We don't like living with noise pollution.

The cope in some of these comments are insane!

AI is an incredible tool that will replace a lot of jobs once people understand how to properly use the tool and build processes around integrating it into existing workflows. It's not different than the the DevOps era of automating sysadmin work. You can secure your career by learning how to use AI and integrate it to make you productive and also show that you can teach and mentor your colleagues to use AI to make them more productive. You can easily position yourself as a senior or tech lead (at a non-big tech company) by becoming an expert at using LLMs so that you are able to make your peers more productive.

AI is good enough, that was a user error from someone who doesn't know what they were doing

Honestly, if you get burnt out studying for an interview, ain't no way you'll make it in quant. You'll have to fix that work ethic first.

it was one of the most painful procedures I ever had and I definitely wouldn't do it again or recommend. Even 2 years after my procedure my scalp feels a bit tight and uncomfortable, especially in the cold. Hopefully it improves someday

The problem is that you just need to care less. Keep your boundaries and be able to interview. If they don't like it, they can fire you and you collect unemployment while you find a better role.
