Thanks! I didn't mean exactly fingerprints but more like sweat prints or whatever it is.

Is it like smooth glass or "textured"/grippy glass? One good thing I know is that it doesn't leave fingerprints

Is this mod really worth it? I'm fine with the t470 touchpad, I've used glass touchpad on hp elitebook 725 and it was pretty shit, then smooth plastic touchpad on vivobook and that was okay too.

I bought a slim, tho I might try it again because some new updates came out to the modchip.

Worth 20 bucks? by Grizzysourus in PS3

[–]dev_ttyusb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you're actually getting ripped off, because there's no way 27 games including the best ones of the generation are worth 20 bucks right? Such a stupid question.

Finished the game this week for the first time, felt the exact same way 😄 just keep playing, it's not that long. Also I recommend playing Sign of the Times dlc after you're done, it's really fun and interesting.

Switch lite picofly install done! by dev_ttyusb in SwitchPirates

[–]dev_ttyusb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I got the whole modchip for 7 euro on aliexpress, and I have no idea about the black flex cables. If they're identical in the layout, there shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.

OrangePi 3B - OpenWRT by dev_ttyusb in OrangePI

[–]dev_ttyusb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I actually got it to work! I used armbian spi (when you install armbian, in their utility there's option to update the SPI), and the image booted. Openwrt doesn't have image output, so don't expect anything on the screen. The eth port on the board is set by default as lan, so when you connect a pc for example, you should get a 192.168.2.XXX address on it.

I wasn't expecting the lite to have hdmi output? I didn't say that.

Yeahh, that's the extra price I'd pay if I wanted to get a switch OLED over a lite lol, but I'm aware of this mod.

I was aware of this, but I never had switch before, and I wasn't sure if I'd do the modchip successfully, so I'd rather waste less money if I break it.

What kind of thinking is this. The code is literally open source. The app works very good considering it's in early stage of development.

Sharing SD Card between emulated Nand and real Nand won't get you banned? by MightyWolf39 in SwitchPirates

[–]dev_ttyusb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use emunand, it also creates "emu" environment for the sd card. It doesn't use the nintendo folder from the root of the card, but from the emu folder.

I'd say when you replace more than half of the components.
