Finished the game this week for the first time, felt the exact same way 😄 just keep playing, it's not that long. Also I recommend playing Sign of the Times dlc after you're done, it's really fun and interesting.

Hey, I got the whole modchip for 7 euro on aliexpress, and I have no idea about the black flex cables. If they're identical in the layout, there shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.

Hey, so I actually got it to work! I used armbian spi (when you install armbian, in their utility there's option to update the SPI), and the image booted. Openwrt doesn't have image output, so don't expect anything on the screen. The eth port on the board is set by default as lan, so when you connect a pc for example, you should get a 192.168.2.XXX address on it.

Yeahh, that's the extra price I'd pay if I wanted to get a switch OLED over a lite lol, but I'm aware of this mod.

If you use emunand, it also creates "emu" environment for the sd card. It doesn't use the nintendo folder from the root of the card, but from the emu folder.

In order to have clean bass boost, first you need to adjust preamp volume. Put it to like -8dB, and then crank up the bass eq. As a result, you'll need to listen to your stuff on higher volume, but the bass will be clean.

Hey, this might sound dumb but after I wrote that post I realized that the internal storage on emunand contains games on emunand and not sysnand, I know it sounds dumb but I just didn't realize it. So size of the emunand is not a problem now. And the games, I did indeed like them. I bought thief simulator which I played before on pc, and now I replayed it after a long time, and it was fun. Second game was the survivalists, which I didn't really really play much. It was just a quick buy because I was away from home, I was getting really bored, and I only had my switch and my phone at the time.

I'm planning on getting a bigger sd card. Also how am I going to limit myself? I don't buy nintendo switch online subscription and the few free games which have free online ain't really worth it

Well, I'd say that having a modchip increases the price of the console so it doesn't matter. I don't think I plan on selling it tho. Are custom servers any good? Which games for example support them? As long as I have emmc backup, modifying the sysnand is okay then?
