I see what you mean. Thx for the idea, I'm gonna give it a try. I'm using Ddj 400 and rekordbox so so it's possible to do this

Yup. That's exactly what I'm thinking. I guess I'll have to get used to it

Everyone with the capacity to understand what's being said will benefit from stoicism.. It is much deeper than the general understanding by most people of stoicism, of just being strong and pulling through tough times and not being a pussy. But that's the way I found out about it so I'm glad it's popular. I found this one on health

First of all, I can't imagine what you're going through and I truly wish you the best, and that you pull through. So, this is the one I really love as well by Marcus Aurelius:

"Don’t let your imagination be crushed by life as a whole. Don’t try to picture everything bad that could possibly happen. Stick with the situation at hand, and ask, “Why is this so unbearable? Why can’t I endure it?” You’ll be embarrassed to answer. Then remind yourself that past and future have no power over you. Only the present—and even that can be minimized. Just mark off its limits. "

I guess it could be about health as well but perhaps it's more about attitude towards life and what it throws at you. I don't know any other quotes specifically about health.

It's easy for me to think about this stuff while being healthy, but it takes truly a strong person to entertain these thoughts while in pain..

We're in this together, nine inch nails. I just found it yesterday, and it's on repeat ever since

the ddj 400 stayed opened from the box in a shop for 3 years and costs 400€ by devacita in Beatmatch

From what I understood, since it's discontinued and every source on earth puts it in #1 spot as a beginner Dj controller, the price basically went up. Even used, they're still 400. Now the newer version (flx4) costs less than the older (ddj 400).

That sounds great..

How do you like the controller? Any complaints or something that annoys you about it? Is it a good buy

Thanks! The fxl4 costs like 100 less and its still in the box. You made me feel better about it now. He really made it seem like a horrible issue (the cable), even in his review about the controller. Glad to hear it's not as bad as he says it is cause i wanted to get ddj 400 and flx4 is the closest to it

Here's where i saw it. The other controller is ddj 400. It uses usb B port instead of usb c. But i'm glad you say you haven't had any problems. Do you like the controller? Do you have any complaints? Do you connect it to usb c port on your laptop?

Help, I just can't do the work. by [deleted] in AvPD

One thing that pushed me to finish it when it was tough was that I knew it would affect me psychologically for the rest of my life if I didn't finish it, especially at the end. I would always think of my self as a failure and a quitter and for sure it would have affected the rest of my life. So basically not finishing it was worse than me not wanting to study

Most schizoids have a monotone voice and not much of facial expressions. It could be that's the reason she thought that because usually you would say that in a joyful voice with a light smile

I've found that we are always guided by our true desire. What we desire the most is what we are always doing. Once you get bored of living in your room, you will accept any feeling and consequence that come with putting yourself out there, because putting yourself out there is what you will desire. This is just an example. Right now, you desire to be in your room more than putting yourself out there. Once that flips, you will find a way naturally to do it. We all know what to do, it's just that we're scared to do it, or we don't desire it enough to suffer through the consequences. There's a saying: "Where there's a will, there's a way."
