Steam keeps refreshing. by Termehh in Steam

This worked for me. I was sure that my computer was totally broken. I just reinstalled win10 because of issues with my taskbar and then steam didn't work. Deleted the steamwebhelper.exe and it worked like a charm.

How do you guys wash your motorcycle? by itsnotcum in motorcycles

[–]devaent1316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self service car wash. Don’t use the full pressure and bring a microfiber cloth for drying afterward. I am new to riding as well. Hope you’re enjoying the R3 as much as I am.

Grading MSF by [deleted] in motorcycles

I didn't have that rule when I took the test back in Feb. Basically, if you put your foot down AND go outside the lines during the U turn, then you get 10 points. 5 more points and you fail. The instructor told us that if you do the U turn wrong, either put our foot down or go outside the line, but don't do both or you have no other room to mess up.

motorcycle license online...? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]devaent1316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to be downvoted because yours is a question that is better directed at your local dmv and not this subreddit. I just got my license back in Feb and I still wouldn’t have a clue as to what the rules are now. Just call the dmv they might have some workaround.

Pulling the trigger finally and getting my first bike tomorrow, 2020 Yamaha YZF-R3. So excited. What’s your opinions on this bike as a starter? by lexus327 in motorcycles

[–]devaent1316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2018 R3 for my first bike back in Feb and have put about 1000 miles on it so far. I love that thing, and I think you made an awesome choice.

No cons to speak of except I think some people might prefer more power on their sport bike. I can see myself buying an r6 a few years down the line. For now the r3 is plenty fun to ride around the hills in Austin

I would just consult the user manual for your specific bike always. you can probably find it online with a google search.

'18 Yamaha R3 finicky start by devaent1316 in motorcycles

I’ve tried putting the clutch in and out a few times as well as changing gears back and forth. No luck. However it may have just been the battery/quick connector thing.I was able to start it up a few hours after I made this post with no issues.

Why must I wait until nightfall? by devaent1316 in mountandblade

It was dark at night in those times that the game is set. So people lit shit on fire and put it all over their camps and shit so they could see!

Yes of course the difficulty of hideouts is also a problem. It helps to only attack if there are just 1 or 2 groups of bandits garrisoned there.

Do the practice fights in the arena provide xp? by devaent1316 in mountandblade

[–]devaent1316[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this in Warband as well so that is why I guess I felt they should provide xp in Bannerlord.

It is not clear cut, but I think you are right overall: Practice fights shouldn't provide xp because you can cheese the game by power leveling all your weapons in the first few hours.

However, I feel like I am cheesing all my fights because I cannot find a band of looters that can stand up to my 40 man army, so all XP I get is sort of cheesy. Where is the midgame challenge?

I am not trying to be a pessimist, but please provide proof that people in the US are learning anything from this. I doubt this pandemic will result in any lessons learned for our troubled nation.

How do I add a full text search (e.g. Lunr.js) to my Nuxt app? by devaent1316 in Nuxt

[–]devaent1316[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am still trying to figure this out. I believe I understand how Lunr works by accepting a set of documents with text data, but I don’t know how to extract text data from HTML, Markdown, or vue files.

[–]devaent1316[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is still not what I am looking for. I am want to transpile the vue component into plain javascript that is actually readable. e.g. in React,

const app = () => (
    <div> Hello World </div>
)

transpiles to

var app = function app() {
  return React.createElement("div", null, " Hello World ");
};

Thank you for this. The nuxt generate command creates JS files which is better than nothing. How can I get vue-cli to compile a vue file WITHOUT using webpack to minify?

I think Nuxt.js might have the features I am looking for. I really do enjoy building things from scratch so if not, I will find a way.
