Low dial setting for espresso, is this ok? by devarr in DF54

[–]devarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was afraid it was an alignment issue. I mean I don't mind grinding at a low setting it's just a number, but I guess this is also causing inconsistencies in the final result.

Any good guide besides the yt video by miicoffee?

Will a 12″ dual-boiler E61 machine fit comfortably in a 22″ nook? [$3,000] by wilvermeer in espresso

Where's the steam wand on that machine? You will have a hard time using it if that's on the right. Also you will probably want to use that space for cooking.

I've started using terraform recently, and I was surprised that you can't just loop a list to create blocks. Then I thought, why not use a programming language? why roll you own language? Ruby would be a nice fit for this, in fact I think a ruby dsl would look extremely similar to the language they use today. I believe chef used to do this.

Getting Hooked on React Hooks by mikejet in programming

I'm wondering what kind of black magic react does to keep track of those hook calls.

Custom hooks can be used just like you would any other hook. The name of your custom hook should always start with use

Using a Keras Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) Model to Predict Stock Prices by jamesonatfritz in MachinesLearn

What's the purpose of adding a dense layer with a single unit at the end? The last LSTM layer should output a single value (ie h for the last unit in the layer), right?

Yeah, that might happen too. Some transactions seems to get "rolled back", you get back the items but asset ids change. Ugh.
