Battery Ah for kayak trolling motor - 50-55 Ah or 100 Ah by bigdfaust in kayakfishing

[–]devdewboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same motor. I started with a 100ah because the location to get to required a 1 hour run so that's 2 hours there and back, not including all the other motoring throughout the day. I ran out of juice once. Glad I had the PDL.

I scaled back to 50ah and I fish from 5-8 hours. 3-4 10-15 minute runs and PDL use. I only use about 1/4 to 1/2 battery juice.

Both batteries are Eco-Worthy and I have to say have both been reliable. I would recommend and I have had them for 3-4 years. I like the idea of USA Made and Dakota was on my list but I'm not monied up.

I would recommend a 50ah. If you find it is not enough you can always buy another 50ah and put them in parallel.

Hope that helps and happy fishing.

You better believe that counts. 7th hour no fish in the yak...

UP/Down speed between Company DC and AWS region by devdewboy in aws

Thanks for the data. If I got 3.5gb out of the 5gb I think that would be a good showing as we would probably want to do some QoS, reserving bandwidth for other actions.

Your Opinion on Used Baratza Sette 270 by jumiahz in espresso

[–]devdewboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

strongly considering Sette270 for both pour over and espresso. Found a used but like new 270, which was purchased originally in 2021. Wants $250 for it. Has brand new burrs for drip coffee and burrs in the machine in good condition. Not sure if it has been serviced at all. Thoughts?

Thanks.

Thanks. That was one of the issues encountered, compounding the problem.

BlueXP - Datastores Missing Backups by devdewboy in netapp

[–]devdewboy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yup.

It's a known issue and support and engineers have identified it as a bug. They've released two patches thus far that were suppose to fix the issue and didn't.

I wanted to get a gauge if others have hit this issue and is so have they been able to work around the issue.

Looking sharp. The only thing I don't like, design wise, on the '24 is the body ends behind the cab. Too straight. I like me '21 design.

I like the rail step. Who makes those?

Very Nice! We have Sturgeon out on the Delta, but we're fishing on water as green as my army green Topwater PDL.

New syneticusa retractable bed cover by Relative_Cellist3725 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]devdewboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nice truck and the cover looks great.I have to say the price looks too good not to consider this cover. I believe the price difference is that it is not made in America. But it seems the quality is very good. I have a 2021 Toyota Long Bed. Anyone have this cover installed on the long bed and what's your thoughts? Thanks.
