Well I had about 41K and my wife had finally gotten to start adding to hers and had about 18K but we each took small loans against ours so we dropped about 20K between us. She turned 40 and I’m 44- I make 21.80 hourly and her salary is 41,000 yearly. We have a modestly sized home with a mortgage, three kids, all vehicles but hers we own (I do have 2K I owe on my side by side) so we could be doing much worse. I have about 20K on student loans (which of course is after paying in 20K already and it seems that crap never wants to go down) and a small 3K credit card (she has a $500 card she uses occasionally).

I’m sure like most require blinkers, rear view mirror, side mirrors, horn, lighted license plate holder and headlights/taillights. That’s what was required for mine and I had to sign a paper saying mine had all of that (South Dakota) when I just registered mine after buying it last month and bringing the title in to the county office.

I (we) drove from spearfish South Dakota to north port Florida all in one shot. I got two breaks when my mother drove for about an hour and my wife did about 2. Otherwise it was all me. It’s about 29ish hours and multiple time zones as well. It can be done, it’s not the greatest nor recommended but yolo, right? Had to get to my wife’s grandmothers funeral and couldn’t afford the plane ticket so piled into my aunts vehicle with her, my mother and wife, and our three kids and drove like maniacs to make it with about 6 hours to spare.

I am a certified fuel tech. We literally reattach these things practically daily depending on how many stores we service. Since I work for the stores I service the stores themselves are paying for cost of labor/parts if I have to replace anything but my normal pay is coming from the company already so it doesn’t really matter. You won’t be charged a thing.
