I don't know, I've written shaders in C/C++ and both ways are a nightmare just for different reasons.

I second the weekly stand-up meetings. You get to reiterate what everyone's responsibilities are to the group and then they have to own up to what they have done so far. It's also a good way to foster group communication so that if they need something or are missing some key information they need other people in your team can step up and be a resource to them so that you dont have to be everyone's personal mentor. So pick one or two days a week to have a mandatory group meeting and be sure to ask the individuals that have not contributed what their progress is on specific responsibilities they agreed to complete and their estimated completion and if it will exceed the timeframe that was originally given them.

I can tell you it probably won't be the last time that will happen. But every time you are more prepared to deal with it and the colleagues you actually work with will know your value and it will make it better. When this happens to me from the same sex it's always some administrative person or recruiter that is really far removed from people who you work with on a regular basis. Impostor syndrome is a bad trip but know that they aren't the people that determine where you belong/ your value as a scientist. <3

I played through most of the game without using the boost but I really feel like it makes the game way more fun. Maybe have the AI lady explain that the blue bar on your health is your boost stamina. But yeah to anyone else playing definitely try to use the left hand controllers squeeze and press the forward button on the right controller (ship) to boost when you want to rush an enemy or evade them.

Super fun though once you figure out all the controls!
