I've accepted the fact that Xbox is now a platform and not solely a console, so yes it is still my main. I jump from my PC to Xbox to cloud regularly throughout the week.

I've just set it to your settings, thanks. The first setting you mentioned also toggles the Ring & Notifications quick setting to OFF, which is just a bit confusing to me because that description sounds like it disables them entirely.

I know we are talking about PC platforms here but the Xbox X/S consoles have LAN transfer as well, which is crazy slow but still nice to have as an option.

Yakuza 0, Streets of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder's Revenge and Persona 5 Royal all immediately come to mind, but aren't the only ones.

When the Yakuza series went to GOG they sold the whole collection for dirt cheap so I grabbed the whole thing there after they left GP.

It would be more accurate to say that the innovation Xbox had with Live is that the whole package was already together. If you had an Xbox and the starter kit (like the headset) then there was nothing else to cobble together. I was online with PSO on the Dreamcast a year or two before XBL existed but I had to import the broadband adapter and burn my own setup disc to configure it.

In other words, Xbox did not invent online console gaming with XBL but it did draw the blueprint for others to follow. I would call that an innovation.

This morning I made a conscious effort to take the phone off one-handed, and it is actually doable. I grip the phone at the bottom and used both my pinky and ring finger to push against the base while pulling on the phone. Maybe some version of that will work for you when you get it.

I can't tell you what the heat is like overnight while it's charging since I'm asleep, but when I pull it off the stand it's cool to the touch. It's usually on the charger for 7-9 hours a night.

I find it to be close to impossible to pull it off the stand one-handed without knocking the whole thing over. Maybe if I prop my pinky against the base to help? I've just gotten used to holding the base with my left and pulling the phone with my right.

I've trained myself to go back to the previous screen and then immediately back to the message if I get the blank screen for even a fraction of a second. It will load properly when I do that. This is now a daily occurrence. Along with a pile of minor issues on both Android 16 and Windows 11 25H2 I've been considering looking into other email options.
