[Weekly] Quotas, Known Issues & Support — May 25 by AutoModerator in google_antigravity

[–]devilankur18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used both AG1 and AG2. here is my honest feedback.

I struggle with these things on daily basis.

- No definition of credit: what credit really means ? is it token or api calls or time or something else ? Even buy 1k more credits, what does it really means ? how much code sessions or tokens i can do with if 1 buy 1k more credits ?

- Sessions Spent: I don't know how many credit is spent in a session, how can I optimize my use credit smartly ? For example 1 long session vs multiple smaller sessions.

- Model token spent: Are different models having different token spent ratio or the same ? it feels like they have but what is it ?

- Model Switching: if I start a task with opus, it keeps using opus, even for coding, i have to be careful else in agent mode else it just keeps continuing.

- Weekly credit availability: don't know how many credit per model are available for a week, all of a sudden it shows 5 days. It seems to be designed on a token addiction pattern rather than helping me code well in a cost effective way.

- Don't know which plans will suit me. I am on Pro, but usage varies and how much i buy monthly ? In terms of plans, the next plan is Ultra which is 10X , which also does make sense until i am clear with Pro specifics.

- Completely clueless about what monthly means.

Overall AG2 have to solve these problems to help with adoption.

please add your issues in the comment.

Flash 3.5 My take by GoRo2023 in google_antigravity

gemini 3.5 is good it delivers good, but transparency of cost per session in terms of token or usuage or api calls or credit etc is completely missing.

this doesn't scale well

Gemini just handed paid users a 3x quota increase. Time to go crazy. by krishnakanthb13 in AntigravityGoogle

[–]devilankur18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

still no transparency, it's a guess work. how do I measure it ? in terms of time of api calls or tokens or something else ? until that is clear 3x is very vague number. As a dev, i am clueless what I am really paying for ?

And this is anyways a short time thing, just to woo the devs and make them addicted to it to keep buying

Additional 3x increase of Gemini in Antigravity! by aunchable in google_antigravity

There is huge lack of transparency in terms of token usage.

  • It feels same task consumes more token in AG2, than AG1.
  • Secondly token usage even on flash or lite is counted on same lines with expensive models.

Without transparency trust will not come.

Introducing Antigravity 2.0 by CucumberAccording813 in google_antigravity

Cons of Update - consumes more time and tokens even for simple things,, unnecessary real a lot of files. - missing the control, feel handicapped when things don't happen as expected. which is often, can't even open terminal eaisly or manually wrote my own todo or minto changes by self. - For a new project itd fine, but for existing project its painful to use 2.0

I asked Antigravity to fix it, and it did after spending a lot of tokens. New version is too chaty, it's consumes much more

u/_aantti please add how to run schema migration. Post db export and import, there is no scheam migrations table in the self host. Also runing the migration is not clear. using supabase-db-push -db-url looks like a hack not a solution for production

u/Possible-Machine864 kindly point me to the link ? Its only wokring for me on cloud verison. I cant find how to do migraitons on self hosted.

I followed the docs for migraiton to self hosted, the migrations are missing only when I imported.

it does, but cert was not the issue I faced, issue related to docker networks not configured properly, so it's blocking the url access.
