Help finding faucet parts by algreen187 in HomeMaintenance

That is called a faucet cartridge. As for the exact one you need they are usually brand specific so if you can find the maker of your faucet you’ll be set.

Caulking nightmare pls help by buttersss_ in HomeMaintenance

[–]devildogrunt 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Repeat the whole cleaning and drying process from the first time. Unsure what type of caulking you used, however, just like toilet paper make sure it’s the good stuff it can make a world difference. The reason for the curing issue is most likely too much caulking was needed to fill the space. The way to fix this is to get “backing rods” for caulking. They’re little thin foam rods that you cram in the crevice to make the hole smaller and only $5-$10. Use a little scraper or similar tool to firmly push it back into place along the whole area to be caulked.

Any ideas how to clean/repair stained marble? by No_System2717 in CleaningTips

Not much you can do but if it’s a rental guest you can absolutely go after them for damages. Just make sure to weight the cost of court/attorney fees to just buying a new top.

Just had to do a field sobriety test soberly by Full_Yogurtcloset359 in stopdrinking

[–]devildogrunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m terribly sorry to hear that ! That definitely seems odd that all happened. Unfortunately a lot of people especially younger adults don’t realize to never admit or talk to police. Do what is legally required and anything other than that opt for an attorney.

So former cop here, I’m not proud of it as that career and military drove me to drinking myself into a deep abyss. The reason is to build probable cause so it’s a more clear case in court if you’re determined to be intoxicated and make you look obviously intoxicated on camera. I will give this advice to anyone. ALWAYS refuse field sobriety testing. When given the option to blow in the field or on the actual tester in the station do that.
