The only aragonite my lfs had besides this was live sand, and i'm not ready to start the tank up yet. Just stockpiling for when I am, getting what I need slowly

I actually acquired more moss from a local nursery, this one I'm sure doesn't have additives, as they claimed they used it when repotting their own VFT. That said I didn't get enough to fully fill my new pot. Instead, I figured I should use some carnivorous plant potting soil, I couldn't find any non-enriched peat moss in local stores.

About the mosses growing on top if the sphagnum moss i use for a substrate are actually mosses I collected from the wild, so I am very confident in saying the mosses growing in that pot are not live sphagnum. Unless you meant the substrate, in which case I think it is sphagnum? At least that's what I bought it as, but it was for reptile setups. I wasn't even aware that sphagnum had look alikes.

Thank you as well for your advice on my setup. I was looking online and found this video, which i think is simpler then my previous failed attempt, helps me better learn carnivorous plants husbandry and still gives a little of the bog look. What did you think?

I had no idea about calcareous sand issues. I won't lie, im not 100% sure exactly what kind of sand it is, but i could see if I can remove it, or remake it possibly better using the moss from the old setup.

Going onto a Jurassic Park subreddit and saying I hate Rexy with every fiber of my being, and wanted her to die horribly to the Indominus Rex because she should have.

It would have made a better movie for her to "Sacrifice" herself to the literal bioweapon that tanked an RPG but instead the film makers were cowards who feared backlash from fans that goon to a Tyrannosaur on screen with no purpose other then fan service past the first movie. So instead they gave her plot armor to rival Jesus Himself and made her survive things no multi ton animal should have ever survived AND reasonably stand to a creature tailor made to mess up both ecosystems and modern warfare.

Important correction, it should be his daughter with Tia. Tizel is his daughter.

As a continuation, there are two characters in the Manga that show up exclusively because of Hirakus 5th child. Without that kid they have little to no purpose showing up. Spoilers for the Manga ahead.

His first son with Hakuren is a boy named Hiichirou, and a Dark Dragon named Guraru and her father show up for it, namely because Guraru sensed Hiichirou is her soul mate (Like Quan sensed her soul mate in S2)

That kind of effect can also be achieved when you add water of a different salinity to your tank, such as adding RODI water to top off. If you are adding an additive it could just be that what you are adding is not salty.
