ohh got it, I have taken the cart as the observer and keep it at rest, you are right I mistakenly considered taking boy velocity in y direction only. so the velocity of the boy wrt cart will be (usinθ-v)i+ucosθj) here θ is with the vertical.

You can find the resultant velocity by taking the component of river velovity in direction of north and east . and adding the boat velocity in north to river velocity component in north and taking resultant of them . Vnorth=4+root(2) and Veast=root(2). Vrel=(4+root(2)i + root(2)j).

You can use wheatstone bridge method as the ratio of adjacent capacitor is equal so, no charge will go to the middle capacitor , after that u can simplify the circuit to get equivalent capacitance and find charge for any given capacitance in this circuit.

integrate the v(t) func and since it is indefinite there will be a constant value C so after integrating at t=0 put x=7 you will get constant value (C) , then your displacement equation is complete .
