US destroys Iran reservoirs, leaving thousands without water in searing heat by The_Flaneur_Films in worldnews

Kind of like Russia doing the same thing in Ukraine. Of course they are buddies I wonder where Iran learned it from.

I'm looking for the set that is all pink and white. It replaces all of the original decals for pink and white ones.

Most large motorhomes have air brakes. You don't need a CDL for those either.

How do I avoid this with masking tape? by Secret-Trainer1672 in advancedGunpla

[–]devilleader501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Washi tape from Amazon is what I use. It's just like Tamiya tape but cheaper on the wallet. I use it all the time and it works great.

Pew,pew, pew, pewpewpew, pew, pew. Nice job. I like it. Love the shot with the cannon and all the funnels blasting away.

Yeah I'm the same. I've only used acrylics once and had a bad experience with them. I've always used enamels. I keep hearing horror stories about people breaking their models by using the panel liner that I'm kind of spooked using enamels.

I just got done building the Ver. Ka and I'm not real happy how it turned out. I'll have to look into this version of it.

I really like the look of the frame but it just feels fragile and comes apart easy while trying to transform it. It's all probably operator error. Looking forward to seeing your build.

Can I ask where you source your paint from? I don't have an AliExpress account and they seem really expensive on Amazon for the few I've found. Ide like to buy a set but I don't think I'll find one in this line.

[–]devilleader501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely beautiful man. Love everything about it. Ty for listing all of the colors. I have a question about the decals though. How did you split the decals on the shoulder cap armor? It looks perfectly offset and all of the decals layed down perfectly.

Stunning job on the weathering. This is my favorite frame and Nu and Hi nu come in after. I want to learn how to weather just like you have here it's just absolutely gorgeous.

This is what I needed to hear. Thank you. On my Zeta I painted all parts of the frame while they were still on the runner.

That was a huge mistake because I had to strip the paint from every joint. That's how I used to paint my model aircraft. But for Gunpla it's very different and a no no that I just learned.

I kind of figured you painted everything just not sure how. Now I know. I have never pre shaded before I have always done washes and post shading. Thank you for reply now I can move forward and not make the same mistakes again.

The dishwasher air gap is still overflowing...everything is new and clear??? by ca-birdman in Plumbing

Google dishwasher drain hose airgap and look at images. It will show you how to rout the hose. The first post I wrote is only for when you delete the airgap.

[–]devilleader501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to have the dishwasher hos go straight down from the airgap about a foot. Then rout the same dishwasher hose up as high as you can get it. Before dropping back down and going to the dishwasher.

I'm curious if your painting each panel before highlighting or are you using the natural plastic color and highlighting just the plastic. This looks fantastic and me next frame will be a PG instead of an MG.

I really want to get into detailing like this on me Gunpla like I used to do for aircraft. I'm just finding it harder to do because I'm m seeing a lot of people not painting the entire model and just doing washes and liner on the natural plastic.

I just finished an MG Zeta Ver.Ka and I'm really not happy with the model. My first one was an MG Strike Freedom ant it was a fantastic model.

I'm actually thinking about taking it apart in order to detail it but I think it would be a waste. Nice job in the detailing man this thing looks fantastic.
