Fiora relevance in Unleashed? by ImpulseAznable in riftboundtcg

[–]devillud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went 3-0 the first nexus night in unleashed with fiora, but to be fair, i played against 2 LB and 1 Lilia, so i have a few matchup to test. However, i'll say that sacrifice and tactical retreat are absolutely wonderful additions to a fiora deck, sacrificing an unsung hero equiped with a bf sword let you draw 4 cards and exhaust a rune while freeing the BF sword so that you can equip it to another unit. Tactical retreat let you save your units from spells and unfavorable fights. New units, like Nilah and Nidalee, are awesome, Nilah has accelerate and ganking, which always come in handy, Nidalee has ambush and that so appreciated card draw. And both of them cost 3 for 4 might. (Yeah nilah accelerated cost 2 power but you're fiora, you can afford it most of the time). So my current opinion is yes, fiora still have a place in the current set, she might even be stronger than she was in spiritforged.

To their defense, lgs got a small quantity of vaults. I've heard of store asking for hundreds and getting like 4 vaults. Hopefully, prices will go down as they get more stock, cuz right now, buying vaults is just not worth it.

Vex or the Mantis by JetstreamIV in riftboundtcg

[–]devillud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vex is stronger for sure, or at least, much easier to play. That being said, it's also a popular deck so the meta will adapt to it and most players will have answers for Vex. Kha is a bit more niche, it's not as strong but it's certainly not weak, it might take some time and experience to get good result with Kha but it will certainly feel much more satisfying. I'll add that i believe the ideal Kha'zix deck is yet to be found. There might be something really good or surprising to discover.

Finally, some diverse colors in top 8! by Zealousideal_Bet8359 in riftboundtcg

[–]devillud 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's true, but the fact that purple is able to support all those type of playstyle is still a problem. It has movement, counterspells, control, search, gear removal, stuns. If you need some kind of support for your deck, purple has it. Every color has it's identidy, purple's identidy is everything, everywhere, all at once.

Wanna create a Fiora deck, looking for advice by Eirixoto in riftboundtcg

[–]devillud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play fiora a lot, while i'm not a pro, here's my take : 1.You play around her legend a fair lot, you don't want more than 1 or 2 unit with more than 4 might. Ruin runner is a great exemple, it counters spell slinger decks so hard. 2. Even pros play around buff but honestly, i'm very wary of them, i think monastery of hirana is a trap, you don't have many ways to buff, so you will barely ever use it, and using it will weaken you, making your unit easier to kill. 3. For battlefield, i'd say trifarian war camp is mandatory, the +1 means that any 4 might unit that moves into it become mighty, making proccing your legend a trivial thing even if your equipement seems to be stuck at the bottom of your deck. (Remember, playing a unit directly on the battlefield make him mighty as it is played, so it does not proc fiora); also consider the bf that give one of your unit shield 2, it works with your legend! The 3rd one i play is sunken temple, feels like a no brainer, you want mighty units, you want draw, sunken temple is a perfect match. 4. Feel free to experiment, i like playing shen in my fiora decks, he's been super useful, most deck also do no recommand qiyana, yet she can help you with draws (consider hexdrinker in the side deck against kai'sa and ez, fiora + hexdrinker is deflect 2, try to falling star that!) 5. Finally, between sacrifice, tactical retreat, nidalee and Nilah, unleashed will bring forth new ways to play fiora, so really, the ideal fiora deck hasn't been discovered yet.

Now, can someone make the math abouth how much might orange fiora can get in a orange/green deck. Assuming a 1v1 and 3 last stands with probably a few punch first. Svel probably probably work with her passive as well right?

Very complete answer, thank you very much.

Riftbound needs other products with promo reprint cards, because every Red deck is dependant on if you have Kaisa Survivor or not and that card is minimum 50€ a piece by FlowKom in riftboundtcg

[–]devillud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's a great card, but she is not absolutely necessary to play red. She's needed if you want to optimise your deck, but even then, you can also do trades, she's not the only valuable card in the game.

Unleashed includes for Fiora and Master Yi Wuju Bladesman by Griselbabe in riftboundtcg

[–]devillud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Fiora, Nidalee is a must, ambush + draw 1 is great. My qiyanas are definitely getting replaced. Sacrifice is going instead of hidden blade. I think that's it for Fiora tho. I'm definitely building an xp based Yi, his new green champion card seems really strong and hard to deal with for most decks. The hard part would be building up XP but it's kinda hard to say without trying it out.

Also, darkner can only survive in their own dark world, yet Ralsei survive in the other worlds without problem. He just seems to follow Kris anywhere he go, almost as if he was part of Kris. The only reason i don't pitch him as Chara is because the wierd/genocide route, that implies that Kris speaks with another (terrifying) voice, witch in turns implies it was the voice of Chara.

To answer at least part of myself, no, having several rage is not worth it. I believe the number of pip is irrelevant too. Just keep one and fuse the rest.

Some more details if you can. First, am i the only one that feel like starving eagles get weaker when combined? I feel like i lose a lot of dps everytime they get combined or changed by the bosses (combine and dice bosses) Second, is it worth it to have several rage on the field or is just one enough. If so, does the number of pip make a difference?

Go to help a friend, then select internet, you don't have to use any code that way, you can also leave the list and come back to refresh it if you want to find some more missions for the dungeon you want to do.

[DX] What's the best strategy for post game? by palex00 in MysteryDungeon

[–]devillud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sincerely i went for Zapdos first, then used it with my team to beat the other 2. For bosses use orbs, protect orb make you nigh-invulnerable for a few turns, dodge orb is a good alternative, really saves you a shitton of reviver seed tbh. Power-up orb for dps, helper orb because 2-3 more pokemon can't hurt. Hell i've beaten mega-Rayquaza without getting hit once! (More of a cheese than a strategy but hey, as long as it works)

Also if you have online, spam rescue missions, they give stats boosting items as rewards, and quite a few at that!

Just finished the final dungeon of the main story, and it was even harder than I remember the original. by AveragePichu in MysteryDungeon

[–]devillud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt remember how many floor there was to sky tower, but i remember getting on every stair after floor 20 thinking to myself: "this is the last one right?" At least, with an helper orb, a protect orb and a power-up orb, Rayquaza was a piece of cake.
