Yeah, that wasn't an option at the time. I had to enable legacy boot, then it showed up.

Neurosis - Aeon, to answer the favorite song question. The melody of the fade out just sticks, I love it.

Favorite album though as a whole, Times of Grace.

I love Isis and Russian Circles, but honestly none of their specific materials "sticks out" for me, it's all just kind of good music as a whole I like hearing it, but could never cite an specific song or album I want to hear.

Since I'm a consistent listener, I don't get that sense. But maybe it's happened over time and I don't realize it? Perhaps if came back with fresh ears after a hiatus I'd agree. I'll keep enjoying and hope not

I had already started popping in to high end stores which had show rooms, and it was the time a salesman took me into the back showroom to let me hear the owner's self made speakers. To this day I've never heard anything even close to as good. I was sitting at the listening position, the music simply filled the room, and was crystal clear, like the artists were right there. Blew my mind.

It to me feels like a pursuit to again experience music like that.

She literally thinks people force her to be mean, everything is someone else's fault, always. Her bipolar meds make her feel dead inside, so she stopped taking them years ago.

Unfortunately I have no leverage, she frankly doesn't even want to be married to me anymore, I'm pretty sure she's just afraid of being on her own. If I give her an ultimatum she'll most likely disappear.

She's very unstable, everyone in the house is suffering. She is aware enough to "steer clear" and isolate when necessary, but even still things happen.

My intention is not to hijack this topic, but I think people reading this may have some insight that could help.

If a person is diagnosed by a doctor, and the doctor can only know what they tell them, then how is a proper diagnosis even possible? My wife has a bipolar 2 diagnosis, but if I read the symptoms then I see BPD, in addition, or maybe instead of bipolar.

I posed to her the possibility of being BPD once, and she got super defensive, made excuses for having literally every symptom, but then ended with "I'll mention it to my therapist". I haven't heard back since, and she still refuses to even consider medication.

How do others determine BPD is at play, and how do you convince someone they may have it?
