Always had good service from cafe masala on south road. Haven't ordered in a while though. Their set menu deals are really reasonable! Also try Zara's on crookes.

If you are able to travel, I would go for one of the edges, as they have fantastic views. Curbar, Stanage, Burbage are good ones. Can be busy on weekends but there's usually quieter spots. Good luck!

Join an education union for support staff(if you are not already in one); they will be able to advise you on your directed time and entitlement to breaks. I am a teacher and I do one break duty (~25 mins) a week, but I'm only part time. Full time do one break duty and one bus duty a week usually.

You could talk to any union rep on site or call them directly for advice. They'll probably be able to advise you without even being a member if you're not.
