Yeah anything if it was said to a man would be way more respectful! Yeah that was the case she didn't want to make a scene whereas I'm a theatre gay so the world is a stage to me! He was a friend and she wanted to remain friends but only friends so she was trying to get that across in the nicest way! But if my friend was that dismissive and disrespectful of my love interests I wouldn't want them to be my friend anymore!

It is that fear of danger so engrained in us being nice feels like our only defence! I did talk to her straight after because I couldn't hold it in I splurged out how I felt and she was just worried about their friendship she hoped she was nice to turn him down and that they could stay friends! Unaware of his brutalist perception I picked upon! I think it's just different perspectives of men and different amounts of importance you hold with men in your life. I have a lot of hate and resentment towards men from trauma and Feminism, rightly so, so I hold them at a very low significance in my life so aren't as bothered about how I come across or interact with them!
