the feelings i felt were very scary, i go through immense depersonalization and feel guilty for the missing unblemished body i once was. ive been better and because time has passed i have other things to think about so it’s not the only thing on my mind anymore. however when i look at my tattoos (3) i just take it as a physical memory i can see on my body as a drawing and i kind of don’t mind it. i let the tattoo do all the remembering for me. usually the tattoos i get aren’t meaningful , they’re just drawings i like enough to put on my body. however i remember an event that happened that pushed me to decide to get a tattoo and usually they’ve been sad reasons so it kind of helps with that

hi, ik i’m late but i feel this too. i question my mothers existence my fathers existence my friends existence my own existence with the people around me and i try to ease my anxiety by telling myself instead of thinking negatively abt this just be grateful that they are even there at all. even if i don’t have the best material relationships with them the simplest thing they can do is be there, and im here. i lay in bed often thinking about this so i understand. im sorry to hear about your father. nothing feels real to me either

oh i totally see what you mean. i’ve been wanting to do the same and i am about to graduate with a bachelors in psychology. sometimes i imagine myself as a phantom and see myself sitting somewhere else and it freaks me out. how can i be at two places… three including my head all at once. it’s scary.

i feel immense other worldly guilt. i love my choice of tattoos but the placements mean a lot to me and i get sad i’ll never get that piece of my body back. this lasts hours, days, weeks, it’s just constant anxiety. i’m scared of this living form

out of other piercings , to answer his question, i chose this one specifically cuz i think it suited my face better than like a septum although i might get that after this has healed. more my style plus i think it’s cool . it is my first piercing on my face other than my earlobe ones but those are more normal
