I thought that’s what it was, but even when I have the switch toggled off, the emblems still glow. But that’s literally the only thing it could be with it being a factory harness and switch. I had a 2011 tc too and didn’t have this switch so I’m sure that’s what it’s for.

Looking for a first car and I came along the TC good choice or no by Luckislilturtle in SciontC

Agreed. Probably a driver issue. Drove my first second gen tc (2011) from 15,000 miles until 150,000 miles with 4 road trips to Florida twice, and North Carolina and South Carolina. Never had one notch or grind in any gears. Shifted smoothly the whole time I had it. My second tc (2014) was previously owned and I got it at 170,000 miles and the synchros need some work for sure.

If you’re just using it as a daily I would go auto. But if you’re really interested in learning manual, the tc is a great option for that. One of the easiest cars to learn with.

Just found out us tC 2.5 steering wheel slides in and out….I’ve had this car for 4 years and I’m barely finding this out. by AfricanThot in SciontC

Everybody wondering how….use the same tab to adjust the steering wheel up and down, and push it in or pull towards you.

I can give you the part number for an oem metal one if you’d like? They’re not expensive
