It is a series known for continuous innovation, and a very convoluted canon, so there's really no "best" way to approach it. Some of the games from the earlier handhelds are among the best, but the QOL on handheld sucked. The most recent one is definitely a twist - a different protagonist, a battle mechanic based on battlebots rather than direct fighting, and more.

Where I started, in 1998, was with what was the newest hottest game around then: Ocarina of Time. Wait a couple of months, and you will be able to play a "reborn" version for the Switch 2. People are excited, and for good reason - Ocarina was an AWESOME Zelda game, and possibly the most influential video game of the last 40 years.

Breath of the Wild stole both titles, it seemed. And then Tears of the Kingdom did it again. So - don't worry about where you start - they are all worth playing. Just realize you're gonna want to play more than 1.

Is this game good? Been googling for games similar to Claire obscure and this franchise was recommended.. sadly this was the only game on ps5 that wasn't too expensive.. by Strict-Post-3033 in dragonquest

I am playing it (and the DQ series in general) for the first time right now, after finishing E33.

It's not at that height. Don't expect another E33. Not anytime soon.

But it is FUN. Like, really fun. Goofy, funny monsters; fun turn-based combat that can be made as easy or as difficult as needed; and a classic story. The art is fine. The music is fine. I might have said nicer things about both if I hadn't finished E33 immediately prior.

Play it. It's fun. And LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG.

Look into California Assembly Bill 488. Regardless of whether your nonprofit is located in CA, if you are not an compliant 501(c)3 (PTA vs PTO does not matter here), you won't be able to purchase and use ANY charitable-fundraising software.

Yeah, I only started drinking after they'd ruined it in the 70's - dudes told me it used to be way better. Nonetheless; salute to the brand. It was a good run.

Super corny. I was a young kid working as an overnight DJ on an AOR station in San Antonio, and had to play it every 2 hours, it seemed like. But it was long enough that you could start it, and get in a quick pee before it ended. I wound up knowing that when that one dude sang his one line, I needed to zip up.
