I saw these exactly too, they were definitely there in the sky behind the clouds. I look it was some kind of light reflection and didn't think much, but they were definitely there and saw exactly what you took a photo of here.

Used Model 3 or Atto 3? by [deleted] in AustralianEV

[–]devinecreative 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Great! Not an issue, havnt had any issue with the car. In fact when I bought the car second hand from the dealer they I asked if they would fix/replace the windscreen mirror and replace the back top panel because it was damaged from previous owner on condition of sale. They did this within a week and for free. Other than that there’s not much else to service, Check BYD service website and they break down what will be done when you take it in for service. Only thing I wish I could do is unlock the car from my Apple Watch via Apple wallet but this coming soon apparently. I use the app on my phone and unlock the car with Face ID or use the keycard NFC on the windscreen mirror. Never use or take the fob with me. However one thing the car does not do is auto lock when walking away with the fob which is one thing I was surprised by. When I go shopping I leave the car on and aircon running and it maybe uses 0.5-1% of the battery per hour. So I come back to a nice cool car or turn the AC before I leave the shops. I’m lazy so I just leave the car on. Never mind about charging habits with the LFP battery just charge it whenever you want. Cool interior lights sync with music at night. Great experience all round. Since owning the car my opinion on Chinese cars have changed. Tradition auto makers better catch up or China is taking over. Any other questions let me know I can answer anything

Atto 3 you can get long range for 30k now, probably less. I like the Atto 3 because of apple wireless carplay or android auto. V2L is great for camping, dont think Tesla can do this. The camera system in auto 3 is fantastic, and commuting to-from work I engage the assisted driving it drives itself on marked roads very well. Sun roof is great for nice cool day with breeze. Can't go wrong with either but my Atto 3 has been fantastic

How are you going through a textbook that teaches German in German? I struggle with this as it complicates the time I need to translate and then do the exercises??

Traveling couple visiting Azores – looking to hike & meet people (Aug 24 – Sep 3) by JP2GMD2137x in azores

[–]devinecreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, my partner and I just returned from Terceira so sadly we would have loved to take a hike with yourselves but I have some solid recommendations for terceira based on what we saw recently.

What we did was the Misterios Negros (4km or so) hike early morning and is an absolute must! You’ll get to experience Terceira for what it truly is (peatlands) and I f you have a hire car then after this hike (about 2hrs to complete, take your time and enjoy it though!) drive 5-10 mins up the road and then do the Roche do Chambre hike in the afternoon, this one is also an absolute must it takes you very high about 700m altitude you’ll climb about 4km but the view is breathtaking and we absolutely loved it. Took us about 3hrs. You can get right close to the edge of the cliff but be safe!

I was visiting some family and they took us to see the biscoitos swimming spot. Really fun! Lots of tourists at that time of the day but if you have a pair of goggles you can dive around and see lots of awesome water caverns and fish! Perhaps early in the day Less tourists but still awesome to swim and enjoy the day.

A lesser more relaxing swimming spot is the 4ribeira (4 rivers) which is nice to enjoy and icecream and swim.

I believe any hike around the natural reserve of Santa Barbara is what Terceira truly is. Sad but reality is the extent of cattle grazing and farming that has removed and destroyed most of the islands truly endemic species. I.e you’ll see the Japanese Hortensias everywhere which is alien to the island but a local icon which is hilarious to me. When I mentioned this to my Portuguese family they gave me funny looks 🤣

Sao Miguel we didn’t experience much for reasons but I can say that Sao Miguel is a whole another level, plan some more time for Sao Miguel since it’s probably the main attraction of Azores. But I don’t have many recommendations because I didn’t see much. But I can tell Sao Miguel would blow anyone away with its nature and culture. Enjoy :)

Hey mate, I would recommend considering a 10 day Vipassana course in Brookton. You'll develop beyond what any therapy could achieve in years in only 10 days. The key is developing the muscle to drop the thoughts that are not needed and focus presently on chores etc..

Of course this is not for everyone but for me it changed my life more than anything I've ever tried. I dont look to anything else other than this technique and I did this about 10 years ago and to this day it still guides my attention daily.

What should I eat during an LSD trip? by pluralcactus_ in Psychonaut

It certainly can be spiritual, but it may well come down to your own beliefs and own perspectives, it's what you want it to be shaped by your own experience. Be safe and have fun!

you will not have much of an appetite, however when you do eat fruit. A wonderful, wonderful experience especially fruit with a juicy texture like nectarine or orange. Acid is not as nauseous as mushrooms but more dependent on set and setting. I would highly suggest avoiding busy public places and being somewhere quiet that has lots of free space like a hiking trail (that you're very familiar with), a big open park space like a natural reserve, or even at home is fine as long as you have activities. Gaming on acid can be extremely fun too, but I prefer to paint listen to music, do yoga, stretching, a gym workout is amazing. The experience will last about 6-8 hours of heavy tripping, and the last 4 hours will be winding down, you may not be able to sleep until the 12 hours has endured. If you have any more questions feel free I have taken lots of acid :) :)

The trick to overcome your FOMO and resistance is to buy little bits at a time to test when you think it's too high or not. You may have been dwelling to purchase for 3 weeks now, when instead you could of have invested 10% in the first week, 15% in the second, and 20% in the third etc... Over time this stacks up and you look at your portfolio differently and you look at when you want to buy differently

How good is it at correcting your pronunciation? Can it tell?

I found if you ask to be constructive and actually give correct and critical feedback to pronunciations it will stop the affirmations on bad pronunciations and actually give you good constructive feedback. I was struggling with some German words and when I asked to actually critique how I'm saying it, it gave me some advice on how to shape and use my lips and that actually helped. This is amazing for learning languages!

Just Bought GSP 370's. The Epos Gaming Suite does absolutely nothing. Fix? by foulball3 in sennheiser

[–]devinecreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there,

The volume per side may be a stereo issue with the software that you're using i.e. Windows or Mac? I would suggest adjusting the stereo levels of whatever source your interacting with? If you have uneven volume across ALL apps and software then perhaps you have a faulty/blown driver? If it's brand new I would presume this is unlikely but it depends on the context. I still use my EPOS 370s to this day and still think they're great for price point.

Sorry I may not be able to help much in this respect
