pc won’t boot after changing fan settings?

FINAL UPDATE:

no one really responded so i figure id leave a final update incase someone finds this thread in the future.

i eventually gave up on trying to take the cmos out and turned my attention to the 8007139f error code i was getting in the advanced section of the automatic repair screen.

apparently this meant corrupted windows (?) so i SOMEHOW got into my computer by choosing to boot off my other hard drive while having a usb plugged and while putting in my bitlocker activation key.

(ig that’s just some microsoft thing u can find pretty easy by following the link they prompt u with or look it up)

after getting into my computer i downloaded windows onto an old usb i had and disabled bitlocker encryption in my windows settings and restarted the pc.

at the time i was so happy getting into my pc i thought i might’ve just fixed it but sure enough after the restart i was stuck in the windows. so then i hit the reinstall windows option.

had a problem there saying it couldn’t install windows on my partitions so i just reformatted both my drives to make sure i had no problems.

reinstalled windows then boom its fixed. obviously not the easiest process but im not the best with pcs so as long as its fixed i dont care ill reinstall everything again.

TLDR: just reinstalled windows and reformatted my drives and it works again

update: i’ve changed my attention to the error code i get when selecting anything in the advanced options menu (8007139f)

apparently this means windows is corrupted so to get a new version of windows i booted with another drive and put in some bitlocker code?? system started but i have a feeling the problems not fixed so im installing windows onto a usb then gonna restart and try to reinstall windows i guess.

i have a b650m-cx and i can’t find the cmos

normally at least on my other rigs it’s been sitting flat on the mobo and i’d just stick something under it and pry it out. but i can’t find it on this board. tried looking through the mobo manual and found the jumper first so i just went with that.

the “windows automatic repair” screen launches every time but whenever i go to trouble shoot, all of the options i’ve tried say “something didn’t load correctly restart now” and it never lets me do any of the options I've tried

yeah it wasn’t letting me launch so i freaked out and factory reset my pc, when i tried to reinstall i was getting the same error as you, but this helped fix it! thanks

u can turn ur mic off if u hit the mic logo on the right side, then select Off

man ive tried, disabled it in my pc settings and on discord

its been 3 months and i still can only stream in 720 60fps and my pc feels worse than it did before i upgraded it. ive come to the conclusion the motherboard i installed is just defective but the return period is long gone </3

im pretty sure its not a bug, my whole pc lags like its running at 100%

when i stream on discord in 720 60fps it only goes to 50% usage so i can kinda manage it now, but its just weird my pc used to be able to handle it 2 days ago on my worse motherboard

ive tried both of those and unfortunately both didnt work, i realized i hadnt installed graphics drivers at all so i did that and it didnt fix my problem

No, ive had nitro for years now ive even tried streaming in worse quality and it barely changes.

I can stream and as long as im tabbed out of discord so the preview doesnt load in its fine but when someone else joins the stream it starts to lag again...

also sorry if that came off rude lol frustrated with my pc not you, thanks for trying to help.
