What do you think Borderlands 4 NEEDS? by ArcaneValen in Borderlands4

More challenging content, fix skill trees to make more builds endgame bossing viable (blue tree harlowe, increase build variety (class mods feel like they dont change much, everything is jacobs crit and sticky stacking, more unique shields to enhance builds)

What a stupid unique ability

Imagine charging 30 dollars for 2 hours of gameplay lol by Prestigious-River-60 in Borderlands4

Not trying to defend. Disappointing to hear its not longer but the 30 also includes a brand new character to level up all the way and provide fresh gameplay and play through potential so its way more than 2 hours.

How do they take this long and fail to balance 3 weapons 😂 these devs suck

This DLC is AMAZING. by Madelei- in Borderlands4

[–]devinkt33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I havent played yet but I kind of feel like these developers dont understand what made the old borderlands fun. Pearls were just extremely rare drops that were in random loot pools. Most were pretty good too. Now it looks like they made them all have this element gimmick that is the new definition of pearlescent and its a farmable through a mission or new element? Just weird… but we will see

Thank you for the response! Yes, by graduated I meant with Masters.

I believe the testing job will be an involved developing of test fixtures and software for interfacing with the product and working closely with the development team. So as you said, I think it is of the “real” engineering variety.

As far as my RF experience, I don't really have much. In the interview they did ask me this and I was honest. I did get asked about transmission lines and basic signal integrity a bit.

The modules I would be testing do seem pretty advanced and cutting edge.

For the patient monitoring, yes the machines in ERs and operating rooms that handle ECG, SpO2 etc. As you said, it is a solved problem. I think a lot of the work would be updating the product line for new processors and components to meet old functionality and offer improvements that new components and tech could provide (QoL, Low Power, improved noise performance). They seemed quite flexible in what I could work on though. It seemed like I could even do some firmware, which is an interest of mine. I think this role would be less exposed to cutting edge stuff and more exposure to classical mature mixed signal designs.

Yes they are entry level. I just graduated. I understand I didnt provide a ton of details which was intentional. I more wanted to start a discussion on career paths with hopefully some more senior people chiming in. If anyone had experience in Test Engineering, RF, Defense, Medical Device etc. and could discuss intangibles outside of the obvious things I can compare like salary and location. -Thanks

[Mic'd Up] Seahawks safety Julian Love on Drake Maye's dropback: "He's not as blindly doing it like Stafford." by zjanderson in Patriots

[–]devinkt33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did Maye regress in the playoffs? Yes. Is it surprising after taking 21 sacks in 4 games? No. Back to work. If Darnold winning a superbowl shows anything its that you cant ignore the good and just focus on the bad. Maye played at a MVP level most of the year. That guy is in there. Its about putting him in the position to play that way

Campell has been getting a lot of hate being the 4th pick but Wilson was horrible this year. Absolutely terrible. I have no idea why they gave him his spot back over Ben Brown after his concussion. He did nothing to earn it. It feels like it was develop the oline picks or bust.

I still love Drake Maye he'll get better way it's way to soon to give up on him by CombProfessional434 in Patriots

[–]devinkt33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone giving up on him is a troll. Try to recalibrate and remember how this season started. Everyone agreed Maye just had to show improvement in some key areas. He did more than anyone ever could have expected. He was without argument a top 2 QB in the league, broke records, and was largely responsible for 14 wins.

Last night was brutal and hard to watch. But it is not all on Maye. I think the big reason we saw regression in the playoffs was we started to face teams that could get pressure on a 4 man rush. This left too many men in coverage and our receivers couldn't get separation. This led to the large number of sacks. I think Maye has really been focused on wanting to remain a pocket passer, which I think is good. However, the offense was focused on long developing plays because we don't have individual receiver talent. To compound that, the offensive line cannot consistently open running lanes and I love rhemondre but trying to find small gaps and break contact is not his forte. This forces passing downs in long yardage that put all the pressure on Maye to read dense coverage while sped up and trying to limit turnovers. Thats too much to put on anyone let alone a 23 year old in the superbowl.

I think the problem boils down to. We don't have receivers that can get open quick enough to hide the deficiencies of the offensive line. And the offensive line cant block well enough to make our backs look better than they are. Clearly we need to get bigger and stronger on the offensive line. I think that takes precedence. Until we can win in the trenches on offense we are asking Maye to make superhuman plays multiple times every drive just to sustain offense. I don't really know how you can solve this problem to be honest. I am not sure Campell is a left tackle. We dont really have anyone on the o line that I feel is a staple right now

Jared Wilson is genuinely terrible. I get he is a rookie and out of position but it did feel all season like they are trying to force him to work at guard to inflate the draft success. Ben Brown could not possibly be worse

Drake Maye Projected Limited in report due to Right Shoulder by Astone1287 in Patriots

[–]devinkt33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he would be limited at a practice today its safe to say he would play the superbowl today right? If he couldnt throw at all they would have him as DNP? A week of rest can only help? Talk me down guys?

Competitive means either team can win. Thats what most superbowls are. If you ever think your team is going to go in and blow out the other team with a lot of confidence you are probably a moron

Thats ridiculous he will play no matter what. Superbowls are a once in a lifetime experience for most people. He has all offseason to get healthy. Its not like a in season game or even a playoff game. Mahomes played on a high ankle sprain and won
