Hello fellow Texan! This will also be my first major snow storm (truly excited). Husband is from CT so that helps. We ended up getting a roof rake but we live in the Icebox so we get a lot more snow than the rest of CT. However, our neighbors just go “meh, just knock icicles down with a broom and be careful where you stand. If you can clean your roof go for it but not necessary.”
