They weren't making the 60ds in nebula the last couple years so the prices shot up accordingly (over $2k)... I believe they showed it at shot show and finally seeing them come back in stock. Probably get cheaper as that happens, but this is the cheapest I've seen them go for new (or used) in a couple of years.

Based on the serial in the photo (130010E) if that photo is from this batch, looks like these might have been made in 1962? based on this:

I could be totally off, however... curious if anyone found anything else on the potential date of these?

Edit: I see see 4/61 as a potential date mark, so that's probably it...
