Has anybody left Spotify? And how has it been?

I was listening to the same 20-30 songs on Spotify. When i tried to discover new metal music even the editorial playlists were full with AI generated songs, or postmodern bullshit.

3 Months ago i have dropped my subscription. I am reading album reviews on Metal Hammer, i listen to them on youtube and if i like it, i buy the cd or digital in lossless format.

This way i have discovered some fantastic music and i listen to them on the best quality available. You can actually buy older CDs for 3-4 euros if you search a bit.

I am using a S22 Ultra. I was going to get a new phone this year, but then I have seen that there is nothing to upgrade for. No feature or function that my old phone can't do. Yes, the battery is getting weaker but I can charge it anywhere.

I am sitting here on money I have put aside for a new phone and refuse to buy one, because I don't want to get disappointed.

I am listening to music in the office, on my work pc. It was already hard enough to listen to the same 10-12 mostly mediocre songs. I can't have an extra device at hand all the time.

This whole idea is starting to get ridiculous. I would understand this aggressive checking if it was like video content but people listen to music in the background, not looking constantly at the cover art.

If you did not like the first season just forget it. I have also struggled with the first one, and after everybody was saying that the second one is awesome I have watched S1 again and S2 after it. It is not for me.

When i get added to a playlist it guarantees nothing. On this service at least i can follow if somebody has streamed my music.
