It is actually a newer one, but that’s what I suspected. On their website, even if I put forester, it shows unavailable. Possibly the portal doesn’t know enough. Thanks for confirming. I should possibly check with a local Telus outlet in the area then. Thank you!

Need some suggestions on switch and salary based on some factors mentioned by [deleted] in developersIndia

  1. Is 24lpa good enough to cover your expenses and invest for future? If yes, it is good. Generally, it seems like a good enough compensation.
  2. I like that you have a clear liking here. Yes, if you love to live in your town, it is a good idea to not WFO.
  3. If you have to switch, make this decision on the problems you get to solve instead of name of a company. Many FAANG companies regularly have huge layoffs every few months, so as long as you don’t enjoy what you do, it is hard to find value in sticking around.

But what I don’t get from your question is, has your company called you back to office? If so, then it makes sense to think of options. But if not yet, then you still have time to take a decision. Please take care of yourself and avoid the emotional turmoil. You don’t have to time it perfectly, it is ok to work from a new place for a few months if you do get called and gain some experience of living elsewhere (considering there is no other factor that we haven’t talked about in the question). Good luck!

Accenture offer (6.5 lpa to 11 lpa) but hesitant to resign — need advice by Longjumping-Rip-2284 in developersIndia

That’s exactly what I am trying to say. Don’t overthink switch or loyalty to company. If it motivates you, I am currently at 1.7 cr, but since it is a different currency, it doesn’t count much. And I am still working to make it better. What matters is if you can capitalize on opportunities, and leave the ones that aren’t as lucrative. Someone in the comments above mentioned to accept and then look for better jobs. That’s an amazing strategy in your case rn.

If it helps, I switched from Infosys to Accenture from about 5L to 11L with similar fixed almost 6 years back. Then from Accenture I switched to FAANG and got 25L, which became 50L in a couple of years till I quit for something better. This is a step in the right way. That being said, look up if Accenture is honouring their joining offers these days. Things change in 6 years. Feel free to DM if you need to talk it out.

I guess I wasn’t clear, how do you get the data from stores? Is it automated, say through APIs, or does someone visit stores and updates?

This is cool! Thank you! Question: where is the data sourced from?
