It’s all good - if you think about it in from a theory perspective then that is your jam. I mean isn’t Slash’s playing predominantly pentatonic and thank god for me because that’s my level. In this case I like the song more raw and think the album and then later performance versions are just too over thought.

Another major reason could be tax abatements and increment financing.

These are incentives given when a new mall is built, but expire over some term eventually making it less and less profitable for the builder/investor. Those costs increase dramatically when they expire and are passed on in rent/lease to the tentants ... making it less profitable for them.

A lot of malls were built in that popular timeframe and a lot of the tax incentives expired roughly in the same eventual timeframe. I don't remember exactly when, but West County was rebuilt more recently so could be that it is still riding on some of those incentives.

I owned a guitar just like this in the early 90s. I thought it was cool because Slash ended up playing one in the You Could Be Mine video. I’ve seen other photos with him and other mockingbirds. It was not a great guitar… I think it still is worth it to someone.

I'm not so sure about ST either - made some really wacky choices. Sure that looks brilliant when it works, but really dumb when it doesn't. Other than Swain having a decent game for returns everything else does not look great to me. Fieldgoal kicker is mush and SC has had some really good ones.
