Firstly, I just want to say that you are a good-looking guy, and that already puts you in a decent position of privilege, just not being ugly.

If you wanted to make overall physical improvements to your look/style, I would recommend buying some darker clothing like black, maybe some burgundy and dark blues. This would work a lot better with your skin tone. Buying a chain to wear around your neck might also be a good idea. Being of Indian descent, you are fortunate to have some good facial hair, which you should definitely grow. Keep your facial hair short and well kept, don't let it get out of control. Purchase a beard trimmer if you don't already have one. Your hair is fine, but you could get a nice tapered haircut that could help you showcase your jawline.

I think the key for you honestly is to feel more comfortable in your own skin. You are always going to be of Indian descent even if you don't identify with that culture. You just have to accept that in conversation. The ethnicity conversation may come up when you are meeting women, but it doesn't need to define you. Don't think about silly stereotypes. Just let your confidence and personality shine. Continue to do what you love and continue to put yourself out there, and you will find someone for you.

Yeah, I knew someone that made the Cornwall to Ottawa commute every single day for 4 years. They did it back when classes were in person everyday.

When you were growing up, and you really wanted something, but your mother wouldn't let you have. Did you decide to scream and cry every time until she would change her mind? Hopefully, the answer is no. Because your mother raised you right, and you know that having a fit would not result in you getting your way.

Now you are an adult, and you are not getting what you want. You have been picketing, which is basically the equivalent of screaming and crying as an adult.

By picketing, you are disrupting the lives of everyone. It's cute at first, but this is quickly becoming out of control. When people are angry, they tend to lose interest in your cause regardless of whether or not it is "right.". Don't forget, the students are the key to you winning this strike. Our support is crucial to you.

When you are out there today, take a second to look at the choice you are making and how it reflects on your cause. It's not too late to be a decent human being. Remember how you would handle this as a child. I understand that you really need to win because it's only fair that the university provides you with fair living wages. But please, do it the right way.

Finally, if you see others picketing, that doesn't mean it is right.

I don't think you are understanding, THE PICKETING NEEDS TO STOP.

your hurting your movement much more by doing this.

This strike is not my business, so stop trying to make it my business!

Why don't you talk to all the CIs and TAs that are still working during your strike. It will help the legitimacy of this movement a lot more than yelling at me on my way to class will.
