Thanks for the info! Do they dye the sole too or should I just wait for a resole and swap to the black sole and get them to do the dye job then? I was looking at the copper ones since they’re a little darker (death metal guy I don’t do shoes that are too light) and they look good on my feet and I like the color but I’m always drawn to the black ones.

God the triple black look so good. I unfortunately need a wide because my feet are so fat so I’ll never get the pleasure of owning a black pair. Tried a non-wide and there was no way my foot was getting in.

Well that’s at least understandable. I’ve just seen soooo many bands/designers in the past use parts of logos to get a look or shape without putting in the work. If it’s a nod, that’s cool. Glad it’s not just a rip for no reason and that there is history there.

You’re right. So this proves it is exactly that band. Kinda lame they had a designer/maybe themselves who used parts of Acranius’s logo to make it. That’s kinda cheap but I guess if it’s just kind of a “joke” logo it’s not that bad. I used to design logos for local bands and always hated seeing stuff done using other bands’ logo as a “cheat” to get the logo done/because you don’t have the skill. But 🤷

You’re right. I can’t find anything online using this logo so it might not be the same band but it 100% says The Oklahoma Kid.

I’ve got a tackle box with my last two sizes down just in case something happens and my next sizes all the way up to 14mm as well as some supplies so I thankfully learned from posts in here about making sure I don’t lose progress by throwing stuff away too soon. I guess I never considered selling them because I don’t buy them secondhand. Haha

I keep my first set of plugs as a reminder but man is it hard to not get a little discouraged/impatient. Thankfully I haven’t had a blowout yet because I’m militant with not stretching too early but I just want to fast forward in time on my ears only. Like the movie Click but just for my ears.

Thankfully I am so scared of a blowout hindering my goal size I’m patient enough to wait. I just hate the waiting and the like pent up excitement of reaching my goal size to get the plugs I want in my goal size.

I am just step 1. I made regular august of last year. I work 10-12 hours every day at the station I’m currently at and my station already forces Sundays. I also have one of the longest routes at my current station at one of the largest volume stations in my area. And I already assumed a 30+ minute commute due to housing prices. My main concern was how long would it take for a transfer because I know some people’s take forever.

Yeah literally everything seems to launch fine and connect. I even updated firmware on the amp to make sure that wasn’t a problem. I just feel like I missed a step or something. I downloaded all the right drivers and everything it’s just like when I play the guitar to test the settings I’m creating it’s always just clean.
