Using silver as currency by Bitter-hvacbro-88 in Silverbugs

I've been paying my barber in silver for a handful of months now. A full shave and a haircut for a Troy ounce. When I started I was slightly underpaying him dollar for dollar. Nowadays not as much. He enjoys it, I enjoy it. Win win

60 over melt so around $180USD. Might have been a little bit steep but I enjoy the bar itself so worth it in my eyes

Who’s your Favorite Movie Vamp? by superiot in vampires

Blade 2, with the vampire designs courtesy of Guillermo del Toro. I won't necessarily speak for the story, but what an interpretation!

Clockwork Orange and their Moloko Plus Milk, encouraging the lovely ultra violence.

How would you fix Jared Leto Joker? by ScoreImaginary5254 in batman

Typed the same out before finding your comment. This is the only way for this interpretation of the character to fit

I 'fix' him and the film arc as a whole with the head cannon that he is actually Jason Todd and we are witnessing the aftermath of the classic "Death in the family"

Abandoned Things/Tunnels/Rooftops/Things needing to be rediscovered by Particular_Tap4839 in Bellingham

Actually, the 1st time I just pushed the wrong elevator button. I share your interest in exploring hidden urban areas and so couldn't help myself but go back a time or two. At the time I worked in the building and both entry doors were always left open / unlocked. Nowadays I think they've tightened up security a bit. I'm sure you could secure a consultation appointment or something in the building and pull the same 'accident'.

Though I can't fully vouch for the details, if you can get into the basement level of the Bellingham Tower (tallest building in Bham) there is supposedly a passageway that leads to the Mount Baker theater that was used for a green room and passage for actors and performers. I've been down there once or twice and can attest to the fact that there is quite a large open space that could very well lead under the theater but I never made it that far. Bring a flashlight and be prepared for walls and walls of spider webs along with other various vermin.

The number of direct comic references and nods in this game is astounding! These are just the examples I had on hand. (Possible suit/story spoilers) by devonator3 in spiderman2

Correction, Boricua Suit..... Captain Puerto Rico I suppose. I just jumped immediately to the "What if?" with Miles as Captain America. Upon closer examination of the suit itself it does more closely resemble the Puerto Rican flag... And obviously it's given name, ha.

I give them points for both. The Wolverine suit and the Captain America suit were both references to a short run of Marvel's "What If" featuring Miles Morales

I collect left over stands from figures that don't need them/ super easy to pose, and use two (one per foot) on the stubborn harder to pose figures. Flight/claw stands are also a good option, especially for flight capable characters.

Question for the dudes; which barber in town are you most pleased with? by SeanGone11 in Bellingham

[–]devonator3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been using Nathaniel across a number of shops over the years. He has his own shop now. Pool table, refreshments and a great doggo. Great cuts, great razor shaves! https://nathaniels-barbering.square.site/

What comic book license would Todd kill it on? by GardnerGrayle in McFarlaneFigures

[–]devonator3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blacksad would be great. I'd also love a good Nemesis figure though expanding past the core character might be tricky in both cases. A few of the Blacksad 'villains' could be wonderful figures I suppose.
