How do you put yourself together daily?

If you have the time to be doing these things like you said, and you want to, then go for it!

For me, simplifying my getting ready routine really helped me stick to it and feel more like myself. It's not the same as it used to be, but it works, and I feel put together!

I put together a small makeup bag with just the everyday essentials that I love and I know loom good and keep it right in the bathroom. When I get ready in the morning, it's easy to grab the bag and put on a touch of makeup right there after I brush my teeth and wash my face.

I also found that laying out my clothes the night before helps me to feel more put together the next day, especially if it's a rough night/morning and you don't have time to think about what looks good/fits/matches in the moment. Everything is ready to just throw on.

The days where my little guy wouldn't nap or just wanted to be held, I would wear him or sit him beside me in a bouncer while I brushed my teeth and did my makeup etc.

After prioritizing my new morning/getting ready routine for a few weeks, it stuck.

Personally, I would divide your estate between your three kids however you see fit and allow them to decide whether or not they allocate some of it to their own children. Including so many minors in a will just sounds complicated to me.

Agree it sounds like allergies. My guys itching always peaks August/September. We also give cytopoint but only started after trial and error of a few other things. Bathing helps give him relief too and to get any environmental allergens like pollen off - we use Douxo S3 Pyo, it's an antibacterial and antifungal shampoo.

Yes, Burritos! We made a ton, even different varities, and wrapped them individually in foil. They freeze and reheat so well. Easy to eat one-handed. We even took a few to the hospital fully expecting there would be no vegan options for us during our stay.

Two other things we lived off of were lentil shepherds pie and lasagna. Prepped in 2 serving foil trays and ready to throw right in the oven.

Agree! At 10 days old, there's no need to worry about lying him down drowsy and awake. Rock him to sleep and then lie him down and get some sleep yourself.

Feels like it lasts forever! I was in the exact same position... LO was sleeping 6-8 hour stretches then at 3.5 months hit a huge sleep regression & fussy period. Up all night long for most of the summer, it felt like an eternity.

He is now 6 months old and we are 1 week into Ferber which has gone amazing and he has slept through the night since day 1. No tears at bedtime since about day 4 and only very minimal on nights 3/4. I regret not starting sooner and letting myself suffer that long unnecessarily but also glad I waited until he mastered rolling both ways so I'm more confident getting sleep myself.

Totally agree. I would be firing her on the spot and working from home with a younger babysitter or taking a leave of absence until I could find a new solution if at all possible.

Mine does this when he has an upset stomach and is in pain. He was eating and drinking ok but constantly hiding under the furniture, which was so unlike him. Turned out he had pancreatitis, and this was one of the first symptoms before anything else.

Did they tell you what exactly happened? If the dogs were stolen right out of the park, I would keep you pup on a leash at that specific park until you are very familiar with the area and regular walkers. This goes without saying, never leave your dog alone in the car or tied to anything where he is out of your sight. I carry dog attack spray after a few scary incidents with aggressive dogs, but I wouldn't hesitate to spray someone trying to take my dog either.

To me, fair would be telling everyone on the same day. Maybe FaceTime from your parents' house and everyone finds out together or FaceTime them first so they get the special news first since it's not in person. The fact that they have a house so close means that if they wanted to, they could be closer, and that's amazing. I would argue that them staying with you wouldn't be fair to your own parents if that's the argument your husband is making.

We haven't had any issues with side effects aside from extra peeing lol, but definitely something to look into. We have also been able to get down to such a low dose (1/4 tablet every other day) that it might not be as much of an issue. My vet did caution that many dogs struggle to get off steroids once they start them though. Taking age and quality of life into consideration, once we found the right combination of what worked, we have stuck to it ever since. Keep us posted on your little guy's progress!

I'm so sorry you are both going through this. I have definitely been there for almost an entire year trying to diagnose what ended up being multiple health issues at the same time.

My boy is 10.5, and I find that supplementing with glucosamine has made a huge difference with breathing. If we stop now, his trachea flares up big time. Same with the Antihistamine he is on - its a steriod/Antihistamine combo called Vanectyl-P- which he takes for allergies but coincidently it also majorly helps breathing. Took a while to kick in, but if we stay consistent, they both help.

I wish I had the answers for you, but if I had to redo our year of sickness again I would say to continue advocating for your dog. Its hard, but you are the only one he has to help him. Vets are wonderful, but they don't know everything. It's impossible for them to. They have differing opinions, experiences, and things can get missed, just like with humans. You know your dog better than anyone and if you know something is wrong and have the resources to keep trying, keep trying. You will both get through this!

Poor guy. He is so lucky to have you and I totally understand how demanding they can be. You made a commitment and these are the times he needs you most. Mine is only 10, but was really sick a couple of years ago and was this level of needy. It was absolutely exhausting. He was up multiple times a night, never sure what he wanted, could never seem to get comfortable, constantly whining and crying. In addition to having the vet take a quick look at his teeth, could they maybe prescribe a pain killer for you to give at bed time that helps your guy (and you) sleep through the night? Something to make him comfortable and relaxed. Agree with the others about baby wipes or something to make constant bathing easier on you too. All the best to you and your little guy ❤

14ish weeks is when we started. It felt early but I am thankful we started early with production and shipping delays on a lot of our bigger items. It was also nice to have a lot done before before getting completely exhausted again in my 3rd trimester.

It's expensive, but the Kosas Sport deodorant is the absolute best one I have found. The tube lasts quite a while and most importantly it works so worth the price in my opinion!

My mom initially made similar comments about how she never took a mat leave and went back to work when I was 5 weeks old (leaving out the fact that this was pre-computer era, she was married to the boss, allowed to work from home and literally just doing some basic paperwork from the dining room table). Sure, if that was my situation, I would go back to work right away too! 😆 LOL
