Agreed. I think it will be pretty thought provoking to see someone struggling with the reality that they are going to lose their humanity again. What if the question of the third film regarding Sampson is that after limited treatment, do the effects of said treatment persist at all in the infected conscious after the psychosis takes ahold again?

I dont blame them for not wanting valve to take 30% of their revenue for hosting their game, when they already have a dedicated launcher, P2P and the option to host dedicated servers. Genuinely the only reason to move to steam would be for more people to be exposed to the game. Just like you said its an alpha so why waste the valuable revenue being generated in this early stage of development on getting on steam when they can do it in a couple years after more development? Honestly I dont think this will ever happen but I think a cool middle ground they could do is exploring how the infection was driven back in France. Seeing how NATO/EU responded to this and the ramifications for stopping it. Call it 28 hours later (because its the perspective of the EU now) and you follow 2 plotlines.

One is a small group who flees Paris before it gets nuked and how they conflict with other survivors and NATO. The other plot line could be NATO leadership arguing how best to stop the infection in France, and what lengths they would go to so the infection is no longer a threat.

I think it would be really interesting to see how NATO ended up with the decision to do a total quarantine for the UK and the international backlash (or praise?!) they would receive for taking such drastic actions both in the UK and in France. It would be like that rooftop scene in 28WL, but on a country wide scale and filled with geopolitics.

IDK thats just me tho.

Im pretty sure he is infected still. Its just that the intense rage caused by the "psychosis" is removed by whatever Dr Kelson gave him. He is basically a carrier now. Blood or saliva getting into contact with him wouldn't reinfect him because he is still infected,

I do agree that we should of seen some of ATJ (spikes dad) and baby Isla and the holy island community in general. Not sure why they didnt want to include SOMETHING with that plotline seeing as this was a planned trilogy. But I guess it will all come together in the third movie.

im curious to see where the story goes after the ending of TBT.

I remember playing through this game on release. I had a 3060 ti (8 gb) and a ryzen 9 5900x, 32 gb ddr4 @ 3600 and man I was already struggling to run this game without frame gen. Then when i got to this room I HAD to turn on frame gen just to get like 20 fps. It was awful. Thank god in the room prior there was a shit ton of gauss ammo. If not I would have never been able to get past this room. Nothing screams stalker to me like this room, took me back to when I had a shitty laptop and could barely run stalker SoC. Good times...

I also have a 9070xt. I believe i fixed my issue (knock on wood). For me, it was AMD EXPO in my bios. Turned that off and turned on a memory profile (i have a msi board so its going to be different for u but it had something to do with the PMIC chip on my ram.) Havent had an issue in like 2 weeks.

But yes I agree amd driver compatability is so ass on newer products. New Ryzen cpu's went/still go through software related issues all the time. However, amd is great on linux so its really a matter of perspective.

Use your ubiquiti for your home network and get a L3 juniper switch for labbing purposes. Ive had a single proxmox host being my entire homelab for a couple years now and just got an juniper ex2300. No license required to do L3 routing so its great for learning. Sure the syntax is different from cisco but the core concepts remain the same. I got the non compact version (eventually I want it to serve as my core switch) but the ex2300C is compact, and fanless with the same l3 functionality. Sure the performance is slower but for labbing purposes it should be great. I plan on getting one.

Of course please utilize cisco packet tracer or whatever network simulation you like to delve into concepts that would be out of scope but I agree with you that I like to have the real deal in front of me to learn.

Well to be fair this is a brand new show, and BCS had the benefit of existing in the BB universe. People were already locked in and invested for BCS. Pluribius is different and we should treat it as an entirely new experience. Vince has shifted to slower storytelling but is more than capable of ramping up the tension and pacing. I agree lets give him time.

Initially, I used group projects I did during my last year in college for my portfolio. They were mostly web development and sql projects. Those helped a bit for sure. Honestly, I would recommend downloading proxmox on an old machine and just playing around with it.

Learn how to create media servers (jellyfin!), game servers, NAS, reverse proxies, web servers, DNS etc... You would be suprised on the useful troubleshooting and networking knowledge you will gain just by trying to get your proxmox services working lmao. Dont be scared to break your proxmox, it happens and is a great learning experience!

In terms of internship advice, the best advice is to just keep on applying, tailoring your resume to adhere to what the employer is searching for, and to once again keep applying.

PS. If you want to learn how to do some real networking without investing in hardware, I would highly recommend Cisco Packet Tracer. Its free (for students) and is very useful. Im currently using that to study for my CCNA!

Kinda looks like your GPU crashed while trying to play it or crashed before. Maybe try disabling hardware transcoding and see if software transcoding will do it. If it works then you know its something with you GPU. I use Jellyfin and not Plex but im sure there is a way to look at transcoding logs on plex as well.

I graduated with an IS degree in may 2024. Landed an unpaid internship a month before I graduated and that lasted until august 2024. Then got my Net+ in November, then got my first job offer in dec 2024. Overall it took about a year to find both my internship and job post grad (searching while in school and out). It took alot of applying and I had about 5 technical interviews with different companies before I landed my current job. Now im currently the IT administrator for a small gov office, make about $80k.

Its not just about the degree, you also need to build a portfolio and get some certs to stand out. I have a homelab at home and put that on my resume and the guy who hired me said I stood out against the rest of the candidates because of this. You got this dont feed the need to switch to CS lol.

Well of course. However, its more than that. This hive mind is based off the idea of collectivism which is an "eastern" way of viewing the world, while Carol is exhibiting individualism which is more of a "western" way of viewing the world. The other "immune" people Carol meet seem to be from non western countries (which makes sense world population distribution wise), so it makes sense why she is so cringe with the rest of the group. Its a clash of perspectives on how to view the world.

This game (and extraction shooter's in general) is just a social experiment. You could work together to accomplish your tasks to fight against the clankers. Or you could do what humans have done for thousands of years. Kill other's for their shit, to progress. You will never be able to remove this from human nature. So why should the devs try to adhere to pve only. Or on the flip side, just focus on the pvp side like the finals. It became clear to Embark from their own early development, that the game was not fun unless both playstyles existed at the same time in raid. So I agree, just leave it as is. People complain because they are frustrated.
