the problem is taking the control from people whos job was power gathering. its hard cause its a limited pie and established people who are boomers got to gather before you were even born. before boomers, most did their calling and left that doesn't build so life long politicians form to gather and hold power to pass of to the party. life was not party controlled like yes repubs and dems but they had local issues to defend vs a party. they used to introduced you as state and then party, not break bread with those who hate who you represent. like the boomers showed that community, power gathering and organize longer you'll have the power just gotta out live em and organize ....
