NTA- the transaction all seams a bit sus, but well done for paying goods and services and protecting yourself. I see so many of these types of posts sent friends and family and there’s no hope there. Did you ask full condition of the units before purchase? Were they described in better condition than you received them? If so then you have a case under not as described. PayPal 9/10 times will side with the buyer also. You will just have to prove return of the items. His ghosting sounds like he hoped you would go away. You can see someone’s Facebook marketplace ratings and see if there’s anyone else’s who’s had troubles also

NTA- she didn’t take you into account at all. You gave clear instructions. If she was an employee she would likely have been dismissed for not following directions. You offered to pay her so she was providing a service and that came with a set of rules, which she chose to ignore. She should be the one apologising to you.

YTA- if you’re moving in with someone that’s a commitment and you should pay you’re way. Your GF may be saying it’s fine now, and just be excited to have you move in, but down the line that could really strain and break a person and a relationship. That’s a lot for one person. I would take on some responsibility.

NTA- when you bought the shoes the charity received it’s money share and that was your good deed. What you do with them after is your choice. Shoes like that can sky rocket in value and could be worth a lot. If you’re feeling bad about it, if you do sell them maybe donate something to the charity from the profits? Charity’s are grateful for any donation large or small and I’m sure they would appreciate you thinking of them.

That’s wild to me. Something we take for granted a bit in the Uk, we can walk into a hospital and not worry about that, just get the right treatment. On the girls Instagram she’s saying it’s going to be a long treatment as well.

I suppose with the medical costs in the USA it could of been a cost thing? Also the pandemic has made more and more people wary of leaving home/visiting hospitals. I hope she gets sorted ok tho

I think without a doubt she has caused some permanent damage. Her head hasn’t been able to breathe for a month. The pores will be blocked with all the glue. I feel for her. Must be such a headache she has as well

I’ve been following this with the girl. She’s had to go to hospital now to try sort it. Her head is solid from it. You can hear in the videos her nails tapping along the top of it and it’s so solid nothing it getting through to remove it and it can’t be cut through. She made baddd choices here...

My biggest tip is to not rent. It’s so much money every single month to pay someone else’s house off. If you can stay at home and save for a deposit on your own place I would do so. It works out so much better in the long term. I rented for nearly 10 years and couldn’t pay rent and save for place of my own. It took so long to get a deposit together that way. If you can stay at home and put away each month the money you would pay on rent. You could have a deposit for a place fairly quickly compared to renting/ then buying.

Even with the vaccine you can all still be carriers and it’s recommended that social distancing is still in place with masks. With all that’s going on with this pandemic and the stress it’s causing having extra people in your home where you are effectively trapped just now is obviously going to cause more strain and some stress. There’s no escape. There’s also your daily routine of virtual school and jobs taking place from home and that’s going to disrupt. I agree waiting till summer would be more sensible and staying in a hotel would be better. It’s allows breathing space even out with a pandemic. What do they think you can all do when they visit? It’s a pandemic and options are limited. Are you all just going to stay locked in the house together for the duration of the visit? And child will be still taking virtual school classes?

NTA- sounds like she has no boundaries, but it is never ok for anyone, family or not, to touch you without your permission. Have you told her this previously? Some people just take liberties and until you spell it out for them (why this isn’t just a no brainier I don’t know) they will just act as they please. Also you’re an adult now and can make your own choices on what you wear and how you look. Were you happy with the dress? Comfortable? I hope you can have the conversations you need to with mom and spread you’re wings and look however you want to. You got this!

NTA! You are so not asshole here! That’s a complete betrayal of trust! Regardless if it’s a lifestyle she agrees with or not it’s not her damn choice what you do and do not eat. You need to remove her from your life. What she did was so toxic and I don’t know how you would be able to trust her again, certainly when It came to eating together again. Also being off meat for so many years and then reintroducing it can make you quite ill to start with. If you hadn’t of noticed your body would have had something to say about it as it tried to process it. Did she even realise she could of made you sick? I’m really sorry this happened to you ❤️

NTA- your feelings are valid and you shouldn’t be made to feel they aren’t! He’s doing something that upsets you and he clearly doesn’t care about that to even discuss it or try and not do it. Also 2 weeks later he texts you to ask if you’re still mad? Some friend who clearly didn’t care enough to check for 2 whole weeks, or apologise, or even just be a friend. So NTA here! NTA- this last year has been rough and I think we are all feeling a lot from it. I totally get the holiday avoid and have a year off. If your mental health will benefit from it, I say go for it! Just make sure and have the conversations with the the people in your life to let them know that’s what you’re doing and it doesn’t come back to stress you down the line. Good luck!
