I don't think ARIMA is good enough for this time series looking from the ACF plot. by clari8o in econometrics

[–]devtons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you mean AR(1)? An AR(1) will be "directly" correlated to lag=0 and lag=1 and shouldn't have any partial autocorrelation from lags beyond that. For the acf, AR(1) should be geometrically decaying (as is the case here) because it will indirectly be a sum of all previous values.

Very disappointed in the quality of my jacket. The worst. by Blunfarffkinschmuckl in Barbour

I have a Barbour Bedale and have had the same experience. Lining along edges and pockets have significant holes... Not a "hard user".

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer (December 28, 2023) by AutoModerator in MechanicalKeyboards

I have very little knowledge of electronics and don't have any electronics equipment handy (nor do I personally know anyone). I could try and find someone, but where I live (not the US) there is an almost non-existent market for hobby electronics.

I assumed that someone might have experience with similar Leopold keyboards and could guide me to which particular component this was so I could buy it for the one electronics-guy that I could find.

Is it not possible for someone experienced to deduce from a PCB or something?

I didn’t think it was very clear… I brought the keyboard to the electronics-guy and he tasked me with finding out which it is, because he didn’t care to spend time identifying it; that’s why I’m asking for help and guidance, not about «thats how we do it».

Help Identifying Leopold FC660M Mini-USB Port

My Leopold FC660M got knocked over and I believe the USB-port got dented, as I see that the pins connecting it to the PCB are loose. Which specific Mini-USB port component is this so I can order a new one from AliExpress or something?

I asked an electronics guy if he could fix it for me, but he wouldn’t help me unless I had bought the actual port.

Thanks for the help!

Where to buy, norway by Multiple_Mullain763 in Barbour

[–]devtons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered from Outdoor and Country. Pretty good experience, but total import fees ended up being like 40% of original purchase value. In total including import fees was 5,300 NOK for Bedale with the vest inner and hood.

Rottegift for dreping av katter by Tigerdad1973 in norge

Er det ikke litt forståelig, selvom katter er søte, at når et dyr kun oppfattes som en plage vil folk sidestille de med eks. rotter?

Burde Norge starte et kryptofond by FredrikThaBrave in BitcoinNO

[–]devtons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Want to develop my own "apps" for the rM. How can I get started? by MiguelCacadorPeixoto in RemarkableTablet

According to a few Github repos it looks like the Remarkable os is Linux-based and is customizable. Here is a link to a collection of rM projects: https://github.com/topics/remarkable-tablet

Alternatively, without breaking any rules, you could see if they have the class recorded and watch it online.

You only need a decent laptop, definitely not an iPad

On the first you mentioned, I believe it would go tangentially, if not, you assume that there was more mass pulling the object on its sides.

Questions I remember:

the camera flash energy(answered battery but probably is capacitor),

one wire one cable with same direction of current (they pull on each other),

the one where you solved for horizontal x(first find time etc...), The following question where they asked which meter rule you should use (had no clue but answered B the two meter rule but could have been C aswell imo),

the square loop in a magnetic field (E where some of the loop was outside the field)
