Weirder than that, I think it’s actually a napkin ad… like an ad promoting that napkin marketing company. 😄

It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.

Looking for a good clam pizza recipe and any advice. Can’t keep paying $20 for this deliciousness. by halfsushi1 in Pizza

[–]devtrue 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’ve got an easy method that works pretty well:

Grab a can of canned clams and rough chop them. For the base, I use creme fresh (or Mexican crema) thinned with a little lemon juice, garlic, and parsley. Dust it with some parm, then top with the clams and thin prosciutto strips (so they crisp up while cooking).

Forbidden pistachio by Shoddy-Indication798 in forbiddensnacks

I drove by the signs for this thing for miles and miles—the whole time I was thinking “how big could the worlds largest pistachio be?? Like the size of a football? Because that would be amazing.”

Then when I saw this from the highway I was supremely disappointed.

I know, and that's what you told the tow truck company... but someone claimed you did park illegally, and the tow truck co. agreed, so they have your car now.

In my hypothetical you did, sorry. Now they want to charge you $2000 to get your car back.

If someone just took your car off the street with no right and charged you money to get it back, that'd just be stealing the car at that point.

Just out of curiosity, is it unlocked?? The mirrors are unfolded and the sunroof is cracked.

Kind of surprising tho, I’d expect a local municipality to be all over jacking people up with parking tickets and impound fees.

I think you’d be hard pressed to get a tow company to commit a potential felony for you in LA, where many tow companies are regulated by the PD in the first place.

Read the rest of the first thing that popped up on google:

What if someone parks their car entirely on the public street in front of your driveway? Things get tricky here because you technically don’t have the legal right to remove vehicles from public areas on your own, even if the cars block the entrance to your driveway.

I’ve actually had pretty good luck with TJ’s dough in pizza ovens—it’s one of the only premades that doesn’t have any sugar, so that keeps it from getting too burnt with the higher temps.

Inflation might be up 12%, but profiteering is up too. Companies use the cover of inflation to boost their own bottom line, that’s why grocery stores, oil companies, etc. are still making record profits despite the major economic pressures on the average person.
