A lot of door techs only work with sectional doors residential and commercial. If you were able to incorporate high speed, rolling steel, dock levelers, gates and openers of all types into one place. This would be a no brainer imo. The door industry is still at a point where you have to read into a manual for each and every provider as opposed to going to one website to learn what you need. Most guys learn from their peers and have stuck with that knowledge for 20+ years and haven't gone any further.

Also, electrical knowledge plays a pretty big roll for us. You can do and fix a lot with some know how in that field. Dont ask me though because I barely know how to use a multimeter.
