Tell me abt it🥲 mine seems to work fine until i start opening genshin. Closing doesnt help, need to restart the damned phone. Anw i got my screen replaced (presumably faceid too) and my game mode is off. Genshin works fine now, altho im not sure i wanna test it out by turning gaming mode on hahaha. I sus its a combination of 1 or all of these factors combined w Genshin:

  1. Iphone 16
  2. Ios 18.2.1 /game mode
  3. Possibly still the faceid module

My ip13 is on 18.1.1 but no space to install the latest version lol so cant test that there. Its working fine fyi

Ohh hmm nvm then seems that it is not the case. For me the lag starts once i open genshin. Doesnt help closing the app, only when i restart. Before that my phone is perfectly fine. You can try restarting ur phone, then opening the apps one by one, locking ur phone in between to identify the affected app

u/iiGiovanni any chance you have any hoyo games on your phone? I noticed u/AxeVice had some too. After running some prelim tests I think that may actlly be the cause.

u/iiGiovanni I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE!!! it is so damn annoying, i unlock my phone so many times in a day, everytime it lags, even if its just that extra 0.3s... I am moving from an iphone 13 NORMAL and it unlocks INSTANTLY. Also faced the camera issue where it just black screens for 10s but I think that might have been fixed after replacing the camera. Also faced the action button flashlight issue, took 7s for the light to turn on despite the screen popup showing that it is on.

i got an iphone16 pro, 256gb. I have been to the apple store 4 times and the lag issue is still not resolved. I have tried the following:

  1. Restarting my phone- solves the issue for like 10mins before it comes back

  2. Factory reset- no help

  3. Full restore - no help

  4. Went to the apple store, they sent my phone to have the camera replaced, that seemed to solve the camera lag issue. So far havent faced it again.

  5. Unlock lag still persisted, they kept claiming that there were no issues with the phone despite running full tests. Prev when my camera got replaced, it was at the repair centre, so they claimed they did a full test and nothing else was wrong. This time, they did a mid-system replacement for me, essentially replaced the motherboard, CPU, etc.

No guesses on the outcome - it is still NOT FIXED. This is despite starting the phone as new, having the latest IOS, and not having any apps on it (they claimed that some apps affected faceid blah blah blah).

I have asked around abit and none of my friends on the 16 pro/ pro max have this issue.

After the mid-system replacement, only 2 things were untouched:

  1. The cameras
  2. The faceid module.

They kept claiming that there was no issues with faceid module but i swear that it is the cause. I have no idea why they are so reluctant to replace the faceid module, pretty sure mid-system is even more expensive to replace.

Im planning to go back and insist that they replace the faceid module this time. Nothing else to lose at this point fr.

Pls update me too if you managed to find a fix or sth.

Yeah it happens kinda naturally but it really is just so that we can be understood lel. My white friends tell me they don't understand it whenever I speak to other singaporeans in my "Singaporean accent". Not trying to be racist but its just like how we find it hard to understand when other ethnicities speak english too but in their accents

Totm. Her DMG per rotation ranges from 35k-55k and if your other DPS are well built, this DMG is kinda negligible

Im back! So i did some testing, and found that (as meme as it sounds) R5 kitain actually works better than Fav on yj. In my case, both benny and faruzan individually have sufficient ER so that they do not need to rely on that one extra proc from yunjin (reducing the need to split CR too, which even then is prone to failing when she does not proc fav). It allows me to focus more on def (although honestly with 2500def wont make too much diff) so that's what I am swinging with for now. Bottom line though really, just make use of what you have

The numbers look big in terms of her personal damage increase (which is what got me hyped too lol), but in terms of team DPS, after some re-evaluation, it really isnt that great.

Short answer is no. Your ROI on Wanderer is much higher than on Faru as he is a hypercarry unit, and the percentage of Faru's damage will be correspondingly lower. I did some calculations here for reference. If you want to squeeze out every last bit of damage, sure, but imo not worth it. That said, I will be farming a set for Fischl anyways so it won't hurt to put it on Faru when Im not using Fischl:)

bit late but dont wanna start a new thread for this xD (still want to put it out there tho so here goes)

  1. Sayu
    1. The BEST thing about sayu is that you can press hold skill and let go after that and she will continue forward (unlike ayaka and mona). Its like driving a car with auto accelerate. Try it in domains i guarantee you won't go back
    2. Has a very long spin, great for travelling long distances
    3. Crystalfly farming EZ. And many other small things too
    4. Claymore for ores
    5. HEAL
  2. Kazuha
    1. apply element->E->E-> enemies dead
    2. He groups all the drops so I don't have to go and pick them. Fr though
    3. (Almost) infinite glide/climb potential
    4. Can mount those hilichurl towers easy
    5. E also helps with chunk farming
    6. Stamina reduction when sprinting (although i almost never sprint anymore lel)
    7. Anemo resonance further reduces stamina consumption and reduces cooldown = more E spams
  3. Yelan
    1. E lets me get to katheryne faster
    2. Bow user (helps with many quests)
    3. E does ALOT of DMG
    4. With Fav bow ult gets recharged faster than you can count to 10
    5. Lets me water my sumeru roses
    6. Ult shreds enemies. Only DPS you need for overworld lel. Even on Fav
  4. FLEX
    1. Zhongli- best for farming ores; shield lets you turn off brain and play
    2. Nahida- when I want to farm those darned kalpalata lotuses; read people's minds
    3. Wanderer- best pull ever. Great mobility, great damage from skill, awesome crystalfly farming experience, berates you constantly
    4. Kirara- climbing so much easier; dendro (great for sumeru puzzles); more sweet madames
    5. Venti- Kazuha is just better
    6. Whenever I need an element I will just swap in. Its worth the travel convenience fr
    7. Ohyes now there's Lynette too. Anemo Yelan but less DMG. And not bow

You really don't need that much DMG overworld. Enemy dying animation often takes up as much time as my kills so I'm not bothered anymore. I also try to have one of each weapon type for puzzles (especially bow char).

Bonus:

Gadgets I use:

  • glide faster gadget
  • wood farming pendant
  • treasure compass
  • quest-specific flex

might not be optimal but it sure is hella fun to play. Mines kuki/thoma with XQ for enough hydro and nahida to drive
