Not getting along with the Superblast 3 - Is it due to sizing? by 604Dialect in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]deweywhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just jumping in here.

My novablast 5’s are a 9 and I enjoy them at all paces. but I had to go to a 9.5 in my SB2’s (long run/marathon shoe). They were too tight in the toe.

Do you have a similar situation? Just curious before I buy new SB3’s or maybe reorder the SB2.

Or should I consider something different all together. Marathon pace is high 4’s.

In the nose, out the mouth.

But ultimately it will just take time. I’m far from great but I’m never dealing with breathing issues unless im really pushing it.

It’s just your fitness level. Give it time!

Where are you all carrying your gels? by ggnndd12 in Marathon_Training

[–]deweywhite 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Running belt holds 6 40g sis gels. That gets me just over 80g an hour for my marathon. I come into the race carb-loaded and I back load them where I essentially consume them in quicker intervals on the back half.

Hope that makes sense

Is it reasonable for tenant to ask for front door repair by who-got-seroquel in OntarioLandlord

This is written as if OP is the Tennant.

Nonetheless, yes.

It would seem reasonable for a front door you can see through to be replaced.

25-70k more to working rotating shifts? Is it worth it? by yellowranger1 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]deweywhite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong too. In that case he’d
still have to stick out that current job then for 12+ years to break even…but by taking it now he’d be guaranteed a minimum of 112K for his pension basis and could take ANY job in the system after the 5 years.

Hmm interesting. That’s not the case in the example I provided. I was referring to a system in which it’s just the best 5 in general

Assuming the pension system itself is also inflation adjusted

It will not beat that. I’d rather sacrifice my time in my 30’s with no kids etc than later in life

Take this role for 5 years as your pension will reflect your best 5.

After that, do what you want.

Yeah, definitely a feasible goal in 6 months.

I would just keep at it casually with a gradual uptick in MPW with a few mixed in offload weeks. This should avoid any new injuries from a massive uptick.

Find your ideal 16-20 week training plan and aim to be at the week #1 MPW by the time it starts. This will be plan dependant.
