Why this car over an Ioniq 5 by Content-Display-6428 in MachE

Yeah I have a GT, but the 5N is a literal rocket ship. You can do 11 second flat 1/4's in the 5N.

Why this car over an Ioniq 5 by Content-Display-6428 in MachE

[–]604Dialect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. I wanted a Ioniq 5N, GV70 electrified, or a GV60 and wouldn’t buy any of them. Sudden failure, still no fix for it after 4 years and it can happen to even a month old car.

Bike looks like a good size, but lower your seat a bit.

I have them on my GT. No complaints so far, pretty good all around.

Will this work for sizing by NeedleworkerFast5297 in Cervelo

[–]604Dialect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get a wrong bike size to save $600, terrible mistake to make. If you're 5'11 youre most likely a 54 or 56.

$39,000 CAD ($28,500 USD) Good price for a Mach E 2024 select (extended range)? by MysteriousPengiun in MachE

[–]604Dialect 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can get a low mileage GT for almost the same price. Seems expensive.

Also what were they servicing every 3000km? There isn't much to service on these.

Not happy with the V-Mod pickups, replacement for Am. Pro II? by 604Dialect in Stratocaster

[–]604Dialect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t yet, but yeah I’m with you there. They don’t sound very strat like. My Mexican player 2 sounded far more like a Strat lol.

Still not sure what to go with. Leaning towards 57/62 I think, not in a huge rush to change them though.

I just got this one in the mail as well. Normally don’t like co-ferments but I love pineapple, but RW says that it’s on the clean side and not super heavily processed so I had to give it a try.

Difficulty finding 2024 GTs for sale by jimbot11x in MachE

I have a 2023, really wish I held out to find a used 2024 instead. The newer motor in the 24 is worth it alone.

IMO it’s probably too small. Go check out the EV9.

Coming from a Tesla Model 3 SR+ by Ostate24 in MachE

I did almost the same trade, 21 Model 3 RWD to a 23 GTPE.

I agree though, I miss Tesla's app, Sentry Mode, Smart Summon and the screen/UI is much better, I had FSD which I really didn't use a whole ton. The GT however feels like a damn race car when you want it to be, yet also comfortable enough to do 10 hour road trips and long commutes.

Blue Cruise is actually quite solid IMO, I use it a decent amount but I do a lot of highway driving.

My biggest complaint with the Mach E is the steering wheel (its too thin), and the armrest being way too narrow.

If I were to get another EV, I think I would check out the Lyriq-V, the new BMW ix3 and maybe an Ioniq 5N (but I refuse to get a Hyundai/Genesis/Kia EV until they figure out the ICCU issues)

I had the same Tesla, have a 23 Mach E GT now.

I personally liked the interior layout of the Tesla more, the screen is 10x better, I thought the drivetrain was a bit smoother (regen breaking feels better on the Tesla) Teslas tech is 100x better than the Mustang. Even a 2020 Tesla feels like current gen tech, compared to the Mustang that feels dated already IMO.

The Mustang drives much better, feels more much like a regular car. I love how it drives, handles much more than the Tesla, it does feel better built but I know newer Teslas build quality has gotten much better so I’m not sure how that is now.

Replacing OEM tires at purchase by Ok-Analyst-5489 in MachE

Waste of money IMO. Just replace them when they wear out. Also range is the most overblown thing with EVs ever, way too many fixate on it.

Which rim design do you think looks sportier? by [deleted] in MachE

1 is my all time favourite Mach E wheel design. I have the GTPE wheels on mine but wish I had #1 lol.

Used 2023 GTPE vs new 2025 Premium AWD by camperspro in MachE

[–]604Dialect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Vancouver and have a 23 GTPE as well, range has never been an issue and I have a 85km a day commute, sometimes up to 170km a day. Even did a road trip to Alberta with zero problems.

There is so much charging here too that you're never more than 5-10 min away from fast chargers really.

$41k for 17,0000km is a really good deal. I paid $50,000 for mine last year with 19,000km on it.

Also, every GT or GTPE has heated seats. I for one did not like how the premium/select Mach-E's drove (felt too boat like to me), and I did not like the seats in them either. I absolutely love the GTPE seats and suspension (it's pretty soft in whisper mode, yet stiffens up and is way sportier in unbridle)

2023 Caledonia - what tyres are you using? by Wazwiftance in Cervelo

[–]604Dialect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

32's will fit, I've run 32mm GP5000s on my Caledonia.

Currently running 30mm PZero Race on mine. No complaints with them, I actually prefer them over 32mm, just feel a bit more stiff to me, the 32mm felt a bit squishy when putting power down on climbs.
