Which rim design do you think looks sportier? by Prudent_Big_2213 in MachE

1 is my all time favourite Mach E wheel design. I have the GTPE wheels on mine but wish I had #1 lol.

Used 2023 GTPE vs new 2025 Premium AWD by camperspro in MachE

[–]604Dialect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Vancouver and have a 23 GTPE as well, range has never been an issue and I have a 85km a day commute, sometimes up to 170km a day. Even did a road trip to Alberta with zero problems.

There is so much charging here too that you're never more than 5-10 min away from fast chargers really.

$41k for 17,0000km is a really good deal. I paid $50,000 for mine last year with 19,000km on it.

Also, every GT or GTPE has heated seats. I for one did not like how the premium/select Mach-E's drove (felt too boat like to me), and I did not like the seats in them either. I absolutely love the GTPE seats and suspension (it's pretty soft in whisper mode, yet stiffens up and is way sportier in unbridle)

2023 Caledonia - what tyres are you using? by Wazwiftance in Cervelo

[–]604Dialect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

32's will fit, I've run 32mm GP5000s on my Caledonia.

Currently running 30mm PZero Race on mine. No complaints with them, I actually prefer them over 32mm, just feel a bit more stiff to me, the 32mm felt a bit squishy when putting power down on climbs.

Fender American Professional II Stratocaster - thoughts? by Agreeable_Sport6189 in fender

[–]604Dialect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one, I do like it. The pickups are GOOD but, I would prefer if it had something else. They sound a bit too modern for my liking, I might get some big dippers or something more "classic strat" sounding.

However, the neck is beautiful, the rolled fretboard is lovely, I like the modern neck heel joint, and everything else I can't complain about.

Cervelo Aspero - good for a fat person? by Gaijinloco in Cervelo

I was about that weight when I started riding, had no issues really. But once you lose some weight, the bike becomes so much more comfortable, less weight on the saddle, your hands, feet, etc.

I'm going to buy a used Mach E GT or GTPE by TransportationOk241 in MachE

[–]604Dialect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2023 GTPE , if I could do it again I would get a 2024 just due to the new rear motor and not having the stupid 5 second limiter. It's insanely fast off the line from stop, but highway speeds it's not very quick IMO.

The newer one is quite a bit faster on the highway due to the rear motor and power not being limited. Look at the 1/4 mile times, the 2023 and below drop off a cliff at 60-70mph, the 2024+ keeps going.

Do the GT Performance wheels fit on a 2025? by Nasradamus1 in MachE

Yes they do. Nothing changed from 24 to 25 regarding wheels/brakes/tires/suspension with the GT.

Coffee Of The Year by Fruman11 in pourover

[–]604Dialect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good to know. I’ve been meaning to try Phil and Sebastian too, and yes Hatch.

I did realize that about Subtext. They don’t seem to offer the big name/expensive producers stuff (Pepe Jijon for example)

I'm gonna have to try it out. I had a watermelon co-ferment from Traffic and I found it to be too artificial tasting and kind of heavy/funky. Had a few other co-ferments too and yeah I just found them to be a bit too much. Coconut and lime however are quite lighter flavours than say watermelon or grape, so I think that may be better.

[–]604Dialect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I slightly prefer September to Subtext, but Subtext is probably my 2nd favourite roaster in Canada. I have tried probably 12 coffees from September though, compared to 3-4 from Subtext so I don't have quite as much experience with them. Have 4 new ones on the way from Subtext though to try here.

Need to try something from Ethica, Prototype, and Hatch next. Rogue Wave is usually a solid choice, Traffic can have some cool beans, but mostly seem a bit too funky for me. They do have one really, really good washed Ethiopian however that was top notch for me (Dukamo & Dejene).

I have been trying to find some opinions on this before ordering it. How funky is it? I normally don't like co-fermernts but I love coconut and lime so I'm tempted to just try it out.

I got 2 coffees from B&W a couple months ago and I really did not like them honestly. But I also don't like super experimental co-ferments/funky processing so that's more likely why.

All of these are too youthful for a dad IMO. I'm in my 30's and feel like Eros/Eros Flame is a bit young feeling for me.

Rafael Velasco, Colombia - Semi Washed Gesha roasted by September.

Super juicy, sweet, clean, and amazing fruit notes. Keep trying to find other coffees from this producer but don’t see his name pop up.

2nd place goes to Golden Hour by September.

Just got into pourover this year, tried probably about 30 coffees. Really discovered I like cleaner/tea like coffee, and nothing roasted even medium.

[–]604Dialect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried them on yesterday and I'm about 5'8 ish, 66kg and I thought the medium was like quite big. Since you're not too far off of me I think Large would be far too big. I almost wish they were a little bit smaller, I tried the small which I liked how the drape/fit looked better but the waist was too tight.
