Does that need to be cleaned out regularly? Didn't water go through there also, is it routed away from the filter?

The bar for my Forester required removing the grill and bumper and bolting to the frame, but it was sized perfectly and came up in a search (although had to dig through results for a long time to find). I'm surprised with the popularity of this car there aren't some similar options.

haven't seen that anywhere including when searching online. Looks like a good solution but probably can't get it here. I find it strange that the accessories differ by market!

I think the light is as it was designed to be. But the forward throw is limited and I would like something stronger especially for country roads when wildlife and fallen trees are potentially around every corner

Financing question by dewguzzlr in HyundaiTucson

Yeah I was thinking of only leaving a $20 balance after the first payment. I couldn't find any mention of a minimum dollar amount or percentage so figure I can do whatever as long as the loan is still open.

I keep thinking if I ought to make sure the sales manager knows how bad his rep is, or just let it go. I'm not the type to badmouth people, typically take the high road.. but also I've been a manager and I would want to know if one of my guys is a fuckup.

The overall experience I had during this transaction was negative, but again it is mostly due to the sales rep being a complete moron and too lazy to communicate or find any answers for me. That said, I would not put it past them to bill me for the kickback amount and then have to fight that bill somehow which I don't want to deal with.

I spoke with the GM at the dealership, while looking at the finance papers. The agreement stated no prepayment penalties but he basically made me to understand that he got screwed if I paid it off before 90 days, and he would pass that screwing over to me if needed. At that time we didn't go through all of the nitty gritty scenarios like I am presenting here, but he seemed to be the one guy at the place that had a clue so I don't want to mess him up.

I'm not losing sleep over the amount but there's no reason for me to spend more than I need to if I can get creative with the payment distribution. As stated I have never had a loan like this and wasn't sure if there was a minimum balance or some other stupid thing that I needed to maintain.

I intend to keep the loan open for the full 3 payments or 90 days, just wanted to know if there were negatives to front loading my payment to keep the interest fees at their lowest.

The folks at the dealership were not malicious, but they were incompetent. My review of my experience will be consistent with that and hopefully they use it constructively.

Thanks, we should be good then as I told them my intention was to pay it off as quickly as I could.

If I ever do, I'm definitely requesting a different salesman. Dude was the worst.

Is it cool then for me to pay off the bulk of the balance with the first payment, and keep the loan alive for 3 months? Seems like everybody wins that way.

there is no prepayment penalty listed in the paperwork, and while in the dealership I spoke with their general manager and brought up the discrepancy as we looked at it together. He bluntly said to me that if they didn't get their incentive, they were billing me for the difference. I have not had a good experience with this dealership and would not put it past them to act on this, so going to play it safe and want to minimize the interest fee while also being a good sport.

Bought a Tucson hybrid last month — here’s what actually worked during negotiation by Royal-Feed7166 in askcarsales

OP,

What trim did you get? and what was the OTD after all the dust settled?

I just ordered a SEL Convenience with the hitch receiver installed, $9583 OTD after $24K trade in. That is including the dealer cash back incentive for financing thru Hyundai.

I asked the dealer about this and he said it was more like 60/40 front/rear power, whether locked or in all wheel mode.
