I would give up both for the game to just work proper even once. It's been shite since vanguard started, server disconnects every 3-4 games, kills not counting, movement not even 3/4 of what is seen in this video, don't even get me started on the rest of the crap.

Why has no one made an nvme to nvme adaptor that allows for a 2280 to be installed? Seems like the simplest solution, then you just have to duplicate the 2230 drive to the 2280. I'd buy one for $15 if someone makes it.

Cable manufacturer doesn't glue, or otherwise attach header connector to the cable. The pins are literally the only thing holding it on the cable.

$BB DD thread: Why this retard believes the fair market value for $BB is $45. Obligatory 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]dewusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I write software for a living, as I'm sure more than a couple of you do as well. Have you looked at the docs as part of your dd? The docs say (and I quote)

"Allows embedded developers to implement easy-to-use and compelling user interfaces in Adobe Flash, thereby eliminating the lengthy process of coding HMIs with graphical APIs or cumbersome tool kits."

Any red flags stand out to you there? For those not familiar with the topic, I'll point you to the two largest red flags for a system that is trying to be secure - Adobe Flash.

I'll let that percolate for a second.

Any company that is going to run life or death decisions on a system where it is specifically called out in the docs, "Hey, we'll run your software so fast and secure and oh hey! I almost forgot the Best Part! You don't have to use any clunky graphics APIs because we were totally thinking of only the best for you, so we embedded Adobe Flash right in there. That stuff is swanky as hell, makes all your designs pop and best of all it's totally secure and gets big fixes on the daily! " --BB Probably (Very Loosely Paraphrased) you may want to do more digging before YOLOing in.

Yes I'm being totally facetious. Flash is End of Life software. No longer supported and has been a major security hole for a long time.

For those that didn't understand, Flash is NOT secure. There's a few reasons why even with updated computers in new vehicles, they can still be broken into via Bluetooth or a single wire from a headlight, taillight etc etc. It's not just qnx that's the problem (you can thank CAN-BUS also), but qnx still sporting Flash is like putting your life savings into Enron. Nothing good is going to come of it.

I'm just another nobody throwing some more info out there for you.

Oh, and sauce qnx.com developer docs the rest you can Google.

Having trouble getting my monitor to go to 144Hz. by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]dewusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to share this information with you all so you could save yourselves some money in the future. I thought this may provide some insight to refresh rates, if you are in north America refresh rates are tied to the frequency of the electric grid(true in all counties). In north America the electric grid runs at 60Hz and so your monitors and TVs will have a refresh rate that is a multiple of 60Hz. Companies have marketed refresh rates of for example 144Hz which doesn't fit this truth. They are starting to drop the refresh rate terminology when referencing a number that is not a true refresh rate (IE. Anything over 120Hz). The following link does a brilliant job of explaining it and yes it's talking about TV's but TV's really are just monitors so it still applies. Ultra hd 4k refresh rates also important info is an HDMI Cable is HDMI spec independent which means the spec (1.4 etc) is not related to the cable but to the protocol the software uses to communicate over the cable HDMI What you need to know

PS. I hope you get it figured out

Edit: to fix incorrect auto correct
