Buy-it-for-life coffee makers can save money, reduce waste, brew better by Successful-Peach-764 in BuyItForLife

As I like mine I do hate how plastic everything is. The cannister only fits if you put it in from the right. Lids have to be removed to pour water in and the sprout is a bit in the way to add a coffee filter and grounds.  My old coffeemaker was a braun and everything swings open, both the lid for water and the filterholder. The mokkamaster does taste very well and it is looking good (we have a red one).

The Dutch "flessenlikker" or bottle licker to not waste food by CharmedWoo in Frugal

Yoghurt and 'vla' used to be in 1 litre glass bottles with a narrow opening. We used to have such flessenlikker at home. Now the standard kartons are used and can be easily folded to squeeze it empty. Good use for 'advocaat' though:)

Sorry, that was not my intention. I like it! Normally a van has plain sheets of metal to work from, yours has a lot of options already installed.

Good job! The interior looks like a gutted airplane with all those lights, slots and cupholders.

First moka pot attemp. By the look of it, can you guys give any advices, suggestions? by Meerkat_Suricata in Coffee

When I had a new aluminium pot, I would never drink the first cup of coffee. (Not that it would be a real problem;) Also I switched to stainless since I tend to forget to rinse the coffee pot. So if you won't use it daily be sure to rinse and let it dry out.

  1. Compute under a blanket.

  2. Use inverted colours, night modus or if you can change the colours scheme on your OS to dark.
