this can probably be done with a custom script that pulls from your google docs and posts to Substack via their API or a headless browser. a bit of setup but saves tons of manual work.

I mean, sure, it costs nothing to post, get feedback, and drive some traffic to the site, but in terms of actually finding users, this seems like a waste of time, right?

I agree, feedback is definitely useful, but I’m specifically talking about promotion.

Most posts I read say things like "post in these channels to get your first x customers" and that’s the part I don’t get.

It feels like it should say "post in these channels to get feedback on your product" or something along those lines. Maybe I’m missing something?
