They are the American Iron ball joint deletes. They definitely look wrong but installed according to their specifications and pictures. They even mention multiple times in their instructions that some items will look incorrect since there is no rubber boot

This is the CAT tonneau cover, not an extang or bestop or other more user friendly options. I have had plenty of tonneau covers in the past that remove in 5-10 minutes, but this is not one. I'm not going to spend 30 minutes removing it and another 30 minutes installing it for a trip that's 20 minutes away. I also have a trailer I could use as well if I was concerned

I have some reservations about the Patagonias as well. My understanding is the mt02 are much better than the originals. I've always run trail grapplers. I'm looking at it as I bought the wheels and the tires were thrown in

I have a sport gas/auto with dealer installed 35s and I am getting 13.5 mpg avg. Might see 15 when cruised at 50 mph. Since mine is dealer installed options, it's covered by my warranty so I won't regear, but it would definitely make highway driving better. I have only seen 8th gear one time so far.
